I always make an effort to get everyone around the table for our main meal, unfortunately due to work I can't always be there.
Brilliant band, and Ed Kowalczyk is easily one of my favourite vocalists (even though he's something of a dickhead if what I read is true). I think they peaked with Secret Samadhi, which was a flawless album, but their output after that was still very good.
Based on the true story of Provisional Irish Republican Army informer Martin McGartland. Excellent performances from Ben Kingsley and especially Jim Sturgess in the central role, apart from a couple of pacing issues it's well worth a watch.
It's very odd, and at times incoherent and bizarre, but ultimately it's a very enjoyable british psychological horror movie. Good central performance from Jim Sturgess and an absolutely top cameo from Eddie Marsan.
For anyone that has seen The Fighter, this is the original HBO documentary 'High on Crack Street'. Well worth a watch (with thanks to KevMur for the heads up).
