  1. It's superb Dave and as I said a few pages earlier once I'd seen it I did a bit of research on the true events, and it's deeply chilling stuff. It's also a movie that stayed with me a few days after viewing, which is usually a positive. Daniel Henshall's performance in particular is engrossing.
  2. Starting to get quite excited about getting this now - looking forward to caning it over the Xmas period.
  3. Laura, have you thought about Temp work? From what you've said, your skill sets might be just the sort of thing the Temp agencies are looking for. A friend of mine works for three different companies during the week as an account/office admin worker. She started off a couple of years ago with an agency (Pertemps?) and hasn't looked back since. Just a thought.

  5. Just finished The Dark Brotherhood questline, absolutely fantastic stuff. There are some very clever parts which only come to light if you've listened to/come across different characters earlier in the game. Definitely my favourite part of the game so far.
  6. Skyrim Dark Souls Saints Row 3 Witcher 2 Rift
  7. Top five for me... PJ Harvey - Let England Shake Elbow - Build a Rocket Boys Gary Numan - Dead Son Rising DJ Shadow - The Less You Know, The Better Bon Iver - Jagjaguwar
  8. But my two favourites of all time were Dino Dini's Kick Off 2 and Player Manager. Absolute gems and I always preferred them to Sensi.
  9. Genuinely shocked and saddened by this. R.I.P Gary
  10. It's not hard to find if you google it, but I was in the lovely position of not knowing and it definitely made me titter, particularly with the cracking bit of dialogue he has with the Saints leader. Mind you, the whole game was full of great little one-liners and inside jokes, some quite obvious and some not so.
  11. Just finished this. You'd be hard pushed to find a game that entertains as much and as consistently for its 30+ hours. Not quite as varied (or long) as SR2 but the downright fun factor means it will be one of my favourites from this year. Plus it contains the best cameo since Bill Murray in Zombieland. Right, back to Skyrim...
  12. I was referring to 13 Assassins as a masterpiece, but I absolutely love Audition too. I lent it to a mate once and told him and his wife to watch it under the pretense that it was a foreign version of Harry met Sally.
  13. No, they definitely can die, when I had Lydia she got eaten by a dragon the poor bitch.
  14. One of my first jobs in design was working on a match program for a certain well known football team. Across the bottom of the main pages in between the folios, there was a message that said 'To hold your own private party at the satdium, call XXXXXXXX now'. When I nipped to the loo one day, one of the other lads deleted the y. A few thousand got printed and there were no end of recriminations, but luckily I kept my job after claiming (rightfully) innocence. When I found out who it was, I got my own back in typical early twenty something style by nailing his fiancee just before I left for a new job.
  15. Great stuff. I was particularly impressed with the
  16. **** too right. Don't be **** daft. Actually talking of Takashi Miike movies, after seeing 13 Assassins at the cinema I purchased it on Bluray the other day, and I have to say, even though I loved it the first time around, it improves on repeat viewings. If anyone has any remote interest in movies like Kurosawa's Seven Samurai/Sanhuro/Yojimbo etc then I urge you to watch it. It's a masterpiece in my opinion.
  17. I did the 'Night to remember' quest quite early on so i've been using that staff for a while now. Coupled with some of the AOE fire spells I've hardly had any trouble killing anything. I love the little sayings he comes out with as he's lopping peoples heads of too!

I got beat up by a ten foot cockroach the other day, when I'd recovered I spoke to my next door neighbour and apparently the same thing had happened to him. Mind you, I'd heard there was a nasty bug going around. (sorry Richard)
  19. Great movie and one of only two Sandler movies I can stomach (Punch drunk Love being the other). Of course the frustrating thing is the fact that the bloke can act, but I suppose the draw of an easy few million dollars for a shite comedy is always going to win out over artistic integrity.
  20. They weren't kidding when they were talking about the entertainment factor were they? It even outshines SR2 in the fun stakes and that game was fun on toast.
  21. **Ahem** previous page. :winkold: Yes, after watching I read up about the actual events too. Truly disturbing stuff.
  22. My version of Lydia is decked out head to foot in Dwarven Armour and wields an axe with a frost enchant on it. Bitch kicks ass. Killed during a dragon attack on the Mage college. Damn.
