Blatantly stolen from one of my mates on FB, what would yours be?
I went with 'Dusk till Dawn' btw...just don't tell Mrs.Designer or she'd be laughing her tits off.
"Children are smarter than any of us. Know how I know that? I don't know one child with a full time job and children." Bill Hicks
"You see." I said, "I'm a socialist. I don't think this world was made for a small minority to dance on the faces of everyone else.." H.G. Wells
Looking forward to seeing Haywire tomorrow night. As a Soderbergh fan, I'm interested to see how he handles a 'pure' action thriller. It also has the added bonus of another David Holmes soundtrack, which is always a good thing.
Quick heads up for anyone not watching us on MOTD or wants to Sky+ it, the acting masterclass that is 'Doubt' is on BBC2 at 10.30 tonight. Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are absolutely flawless. Well worth a watch.
Just got back in from watching Shame. You were spot on about the uncompromising and enthralling bit. I'd add powerful, and an uneasy yet rewarding watch too.
A couple of the scenes (the subway and the restaurant) just blew me away. Fassbender and Mulligan both on top form.
Not for everyone, but I thought it was excellent.
Watched the first three episodes and it's great fun. It's about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the teeth, and borrows so many of it's ideas from other sources it's untrue, but...I'm enjoying it. I bet Jessica Lange had a lot of fun with her role and she's great in it.
I would also like to do very bad things to the maid (yes, the young version).
I'll probably be cancelling my sub after the initial month is finished too.
Very good game, very polished and well put together but at the moment it lacks that certain 'it' that would keep me subscribing every month.
Having said that I'm 99% certain I'll be returning as the game develops/progresses along the line. I've no doubt it will be around for a good while.
