Didn't like Fallout 3 at all (tried it twice) but absolutely loved New Vegas. Go figure eh. -

Really enjoyed that and looking forward the sequels. Ridley Scott's production company has bought the movie rights so it will be interesting to see how it translates to screen due to the length of the book.

No, it stays quite true to the book. In fact it's one of the better adaptations i've seen. It also has a (not surprisingly) fantastic performance by Tilda Swinton. It's a pity about your aversion btw, because imo the book is superb and I'm always interested in the old Nature/Nurture debate.

Haven't enjoyed any of the Metal Gear Solid series since the first one (PS1) and absolutely hated MGS4 even though many rated it very highly. The Halo and Gears of War series are another couple that spring to mind, but the winner for me has to be Gran Turismo. I've never played a single version of that game that has left me anything but 'meh' after a couple of hours. -

I have a set of Roccat Kave 5.1 on my PC. Very nice sound quality for gaming/music and not overly expensive (think I paid £70 for mine).

Anyway, a bit of a late heads up (as it's been a couple of weeks) but the quite simply fantastic Tyrannosaur is now out on DVD and Bluray. Stunning directorial debut from Paddy Considine with top drawer performances from Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman.

That's interesting. I rarely abandon a film once I've started. It has to be truly atrocious to the point of annoying before I'll give up. For example if I find out 20 minutes in that Ben Stiller is in it. That might do the trick. I guess if I'd gone to see it at the cinema I'd have stuck it out, but this was a rental DVD, and I just couldn't be arsed with it. I'm a big fan of Chris Nolan and have tried twice (Cinema and BluRay) to get into Inception. Still think it's one of his poorest movies. It's also nowhere near as clever as people say it is or the writer would like you to believe it is.

Resi 4 isn't strictly speaking a 'Zombie' game though. iirc There are no 'undead' enemies in it. It is however, a gaming masterpiece imo.

Everytime I log onto the PS3 you seem to be playing that I'm going to have to investigate it at some point.
