From the 30 minutes or so I've played so far, it's basically the original turned up to 11 with slightly more intuitive controls and better textures. I'm going to give it a good few hours tonight so I'll probably have a better handle on it then.

I've been excited about watching it for ages now (I bought all the movies leading up to it on Bluray) and I know you're a comic fan like me, but not a frothing fanboy who might be...shall we say a little 'myopic' about the movie, so it's cool that you've given it such a glowing recommendation. Picked up Prototype 2 yesterday as I enjoyed the first one. Second one is even more OTT on the violence stakes and is ridiculously entertaining.

If I was referring to "The Thing from Another World" then I'd have said "The Thing from Another World" Fair enough... Although before the Carpenter version, it was usually referred to as The Thing

Have you seen the extended version? Personally i've never understand the flack that movie got (it was made under ridiculously difficult conditions and Fincher's control over it was constantly being wrestled away) and I think the extended version really helps you to see how it was originally envisaged. Howard Hawks version?

This is how I feel about Christina Hendricks. See, now that's a perfect example of sexy for me. She's definitely not the most stunning looking but I would crawl through broken glass with my flies undone just to stick matchsticks in her shit.

Even if I say I don't find her attractive and thus she has no sex appeal to me? :winkold: Well that goes without saying The point I'm making, as I said on the previous page I think she is attractive to look at but I see nothing in her as a person, from how she walks, talks, comports herself in public etc to make me see her as sexy. She literally does nothing for me in that sense, and there is far more to wanting to bang the living arse off someone than a pretty face.

Apart from in the books she's attractive and curvy with a great rack. Whereas Jennifer Carpenter isn't exactly the prettiest and has the body of a ten year old boy.
