  1. I really enjoyed Bad Education, I'm a big fan of Gael Garcia Bernal and I thought he was terrific in it. As for Almodovar, Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown ftw!
  2. **** YES. Double **** YES. Had my first listen to this yesterday. Up to their usual top standards.
  3. Norton, to steal a line from the Avengers 'doesn't play well with others'.
  4. Mrs Designer is a photographer and these are a couple of shots from a recent model shoot she did.
  5. Just pretend the fourth one doesn't exist and watch the Assembly Cut of the third and you will be golden.
  6. Blimey, it's like the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse, but instead of Death, War, Famine and Conquest we get word removed, word removed, word removed and word removed.
  7. Watched the Avengers. Not much to say apart from agree with Chindies excellent review. Popcorn perfection, I literally had a grin on my face the whole way through. I got a lovely geeky satisfaction from 'getting' the mid end credit sequence too.
  8. They do know they are supposed to kick the spherical object to each other don't they?
  9. Havent seen Hysteria yet (although Maggie G + a story about vibrators might be interesting) but a couple of friends have seen NYE and thought it was quote 'one of the biggest piles of shit ever'.
  10. I still think Badlands is the best thing Malick has ever done/likely to do.
  11. Looking forward to watching The Innocents on Bluray tomorrow night. I've seen various adaptations of Henry James Turn of the Screw (Colin Firth version, Lynn Redgrave version and ofc The Others was highly influenced by it) but The Innocents is supposedly the cream of the crop.
  12. I'll take it from that that you haven't read the book mate? You're in for a treat anyway. Absolutely flawless movie adaptation (very rare imo). Tilda Swinton is magnificent.
  13. The Rickey Gervais show is one of the funniest things I have watched. Loved it. Gervais has pretty much a perfect record for me. Saw him live a few times too and he was utterly brilliant.
  14. I...reckon...if I say things...with a big pause in between...they will some how...become...funnier... ...etc...etc... Unfunny twunt. I'd also like to kick Russell Howard around a pub car park for a couple of hours. See if he can find something funny out of that experience to put on his 'comedy' show. And although Phoenix Nights was pretty much genius comedy, Peter Kay has gotten right on my tits ever since. Horrible, horrible bloke in real life too.
