  1. Yeah, I bought one a while ago for Warcraft - well worth 8-9 quid for peace of mind.
  2. Enjoying Dragons Dogma so far - It's nice that there are 'big' monster encounters pretty much from the get go. The graphics, look and feel of the game seem pretty decent too and the combat seems solid.
  3. One of the best movies from the last few years imo. So, the Hunter character...what was your take on him? Personally, I thought... ***SPOILERS AHOY***
  4. Have you played it yet Sie? If so, thoughts please, as i'm debating trading in Max Payne 3 (boring and repetitive) for it tomorrow.
  5. Fans of the superb low budget sci-fi movie Hardware will recognise this one...
  6. I also had AvP on Atari's ill-fated Jaguar console (yes I was one of the four people that owned one) and seem to remember that was pretty decent for the time.
  7. All Alien games to date have been shite. Aliens Versus Predator 2 on the PC was **** brilliant. **EDIT** Beaten to it by Chindie.
  8. Happy with Lambert, ecstatic and (more importantly at the moment) excited with OGS.
  9. I like that line. Wholeheartedly agree with it too. We need some excitement around the club again and I think installing OGS as manager would be a great way to start.
  10. Old School! 8) Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  11. Well, I haven't been bowled over by Max Payne 3 yet. I'm three/four hours in and it just seems so bland and repetitive. The main USP of the game is it's gun-play, and to be fair that's all done well with decent controls and a nice difficulty balance on the enemies. The problem is there is literally no creativity to the combat at all. For all intents and purposes it might as well be an 'on rail' shooter for the amount of variety it contains, and as you spend 90% of the game shooting then that's an issue. It certainly doesn't feel like a game which was made nearly a decade after Max Payne 2 (which i loved), you would have thought they might have come up with some original ideas to the main core of the game in that time. I also think they've overdone the whole 'noir' look and feel. Some of the cut scenes and voice overs almost veer into comedy it's laid on so thick, and cliches abound around every corner (almost to the point of cringing). Had a blast on the multiplayer earlier and have to say I enjoyed that more than the single player. So, it's a decent game which i'm sure many people will enjoy as it's solidly put together but I think I was just expecting a bit more than Max Payne 2.1.
  12. One of my favourites from the last few years. Stunning movie.
  13. Picked up Max Payne 3 earlier today. As soon as I can pry myself from Diablo III I'll give it a go. Anyone else played it yet?
  14. I am, because the Governor is coming... David Morrissey is playing him. Good choice imo, big fan of DM.
  15. The original Planet of the Apes and Westworld are both on there. Can't go wrong with either to be honest (although I would have to give the nod to Westworld).
  16. I really, really wish they weren't doing it in all honesty Bri. It's easily one of my favourite movies ever and I think it should be left. However, if it's going to be done then at least with Scotts (and hopefully H.Fancher's) involvement it has a chance to be decent. I doubt very much he wants the superb vision which he created in the original, and the massive following it's rightly garnered in the years since, to be diluted by a poor follow up.
  17. I think people are getting mixed up. Wasnt if Fortjoff (Chelsea, Rangers and Sunderland Striker) wife/girlfriend who was a Villa fan. That was Tore Andre Flo iirc.
  18. Couple of snippets about the Blade Runner sequel. Hampton Fancher returning and a female lead?...hmmm
  19. One word....Commando! If you are male and havnt seen it you really need a word with yourself! I haven't seen (or heard of) ANY of those. I have had a word with myself, and that word was "meh". I would hazard a guess that the only one of those you would like would be King of New York Mike. It's a very decent gangster movie directed by 'Mr.Hit and Miss' himself Abel Ferrara with a great central performance from Chris Walken.
  20. Yep, Villa + Excitement...It's been too long hasn't it?
  21. Hope this actually happens now. I am genuinely excited by this appointment, and excitement is something we've been lacking for a good while now.
  22. Haha! "Fresh Meat!" - Nice to see they've bought him back.
