Played through that again myself the other week in anticipation of the new one in December. Picked it up from Steam for £5.99. Still a fantastic game, great fun trying out the different ways to finish the mission. Graphics are still pretty decent when scaled at 1920x1080 too.

I originally played Fallout New Vegas on PS3, and because I enjoyed the first play through so much I decided to purchase the game again, this time on PC with all the DLC in one pack. I'm only a couple of hours in so far and it certainly hasn't lost any of it's quality. In fact, it looks about a thousand times better on PC (no real surprise) and so a second play through with a different build, consciously making different decisions AND having the DLC to get through should be a great experience. Also really enjoying Limbo and Braid at the moment - indietastic!

The book was more about the impact the murder had on the remaining family. The film didn't explore this at all and instead went for the bog standard serial killer story, and in doing so ruined the entire premise of the book. In short, the film was balls.

:notworthy: Love Bad Religion. The thinking mans Punk Band imo. No Control is great but Stranger than Fiction is for me their best work.

Love House of the Devil. Really well put together 'old school' horror movie. Nice and subtle build up of dread and Tom Noonan is gloriously creepy.

Really interested in seeing William Friedkin's (Exorcist / French Connection Director) new movie Killer Joe. Getting absolute rave reviews.

He's credited as being the co-creator of Judge Dredd with John Wagner (they also created the superb Strontium Dog). I think he basically designed Dredds original character along with Mega City One and the technology side and Wagner did the original story lines. From what I've read, he's more of a 'consultant' on the characters in the new Dredd movie.

Looks ok on this one... Suppose it depends which 2000AD artist (if any) they are basing the design on. There was quite a difference between the style of Smith, Kennedy, Bolland, Ezquerra et al and then even they seemed to change their own interpretation from time to time. Agree about the budget btw. 45mish probably not enough for today's standards, particularly when dealing with something as ambitious as Dredd. I'll still remain hopeful though (at least until the first trailer )
