Envious. Both superb imo.

It's excellent. Gorgeous looking world, a very 'adult' orientated fantasy environment populated by some fun characters and a solid combat system. It's also very challenging, the learning curve seems steep to begin with but once it clicks with you, you'll enjoy it immensely. I'd definitely take a punt on it.

Well to be honest Darren, if he doesn't then I fear the worst.

I think he needs to re-assess his approach to transfers and show some of the pragmatism that I thought was one of his strengths at Norwich. In short, I want him to stay but I want him to have a rethink about his building process. We need a smattering of old heads.

The love for the first Mad Max movie. Massively overrated, a pretty poor movie in terms of story, acting etc and yet has a huge cult following. If you want the best Mad Max movie, just watch The Road Warrior. Now that is a masterpiece.

If you hated The Royal Tenenbaums I'm pretty certain you won't like Moonrise Kingdom. And as a massive W.Anderson fan I say shame on you

Oh, and I really can't recommend it enough. If you only saw up until Blighttown you have sooooo much gaming goodness to see. I'm going to have a break from it for a few weeks before trying my hand at the DLC areas (which are included in the PC version).

It's absolutely stunning once you download the DSFIX. No framerate issues at all (Even in Blighttown). Certainly puts the PS3 and Xbox versions to shame. I also recommend downloading the DS3 Tool and using a PS3 controller. Mouse and keys don't really suit it at all.

Finished Dark Souls on PC the other night. I think elated is the best word to describe the feeling when the last boss went down.

Thought it was superb to be honest. Cracking ensemble cast and a top performance as usual from Gary Oldman. Although of course, Alec Guinness will always be George Smiley to me.

If you havent played it yet, highly recommend Far Cry 3 on a PC that does it justice. Stunning game.

Doing that exact thing with my youngest daughter at the moment. Its great because I've been meaning to revisit it (The Hobbit) for a couple of years so this is a perfect excuse. She's absolutely captivated by it.

I used to play and I have a couple of level-capped characters on there. It's a very, very solid MMO, and if you like your Tolkien you're going to be hooked pretty quickly. The environments are really beautiful and the story is great and sweeps you along the levels in a very enjoyable manner. I've played a lot of MMO's and it has easily the best community i've come across. Hardly any idiots and most people seemed to be very friendly, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Regarding a learning curve, there's a great 'tutorial' starter area for new characters which covers all the basics you will need. The only issue I had with it was the combat mechanics can be a very clunky and don't really flow. This might have been changed in the last year or so though. Also, it is free to play, but it's very restrictive unless you get a subscription (many questing areas locked etc). Certainly a great place to have your first MMO experience though. Good luck.
