    Very much looking forward to the new Michael Winterbottom movie Everyday. He's such an eclectic director and has made some absolute gems. And with Shirely Henderson and John Simm starring I think it'll be another winner.

    I know I've said it before (plenty of times ) but anyone with an interest in the GoT series really should read the books. They are utterly fantastic and really give the charcters and story the flesh it deserves.

    Personally didn't find it too Jingoistic anyway. I dare say there are elements of truth to it (the final 20 minutes was based around extensive research iirc) but yes, watch it as a work of fiction and it's a very well made, well acted movie.

    Zero Dark Thirty is very good indeed. Not without it's problems (main character lacks a decent backstory, the movie assumes you know alot about the history and details of the events and some of the dialogue is a bit vague) but Jessica Chastain is superb, the direction is pretty much flawless and it does ask some interesting questions. That's the only reason i'll be interested in seeing it too.

    Just watched The Impossible. I thought apart from the excellent Tsunami sequence, and a genuinely moving scene with Ewan McGregor on a mobile phone it was pretty bland stuff, with blatant emotional hooks and some incredibly poor dialogue. The original story of the Spanish family that it's based on deserved a better treatment imo.

    Good thing is that the Baggies will have to chase the game in the second half and that will inevitably leave gaps at the back. And with Charles and Gabby having good games, we should be able to exploit it.
