What did you think Mike?
I personally thought it was very good but fell short of Haneke's best work (Piano Teacher / Cache / White Ribbon)
Although I did think the lead performances were stunning.
If only I could like 456763456765 times.
I can't wait to see Before Midnight. The first two are easily among my favourite films.
Yep, brilliant movies.
The scene in the first one where they on a tram (iirc) which is done in one long shot with each line of dialogue beautifully delivered. Oh, and the soundbooth scene, oh and the...well yeah all great stuff.
Very much this, didn't even know until I heard on the radio this morning.
Can't be bothered with anything football related apart from Villa these days.
I think he'll be the ’real’ ninth Doctor.
The one responsible for ending The Time War and committing acts that the latter Doctors have been ashamed of.
Just my tuppence worth.
Going to see The Defiled this Tuesday and then Half Man Half Biscuit on Thursday. Very different musically (just a bit ), but looking forward to both.
Already saw The Defiled earlier this year in support of Ghost and they were excellent. As for HMHB, the last time I saw them live was 23 years ago. Pretty certain I won't leave it quite as long next time.
Massively disappointed Tomahawk aren't doing a full UK tour though. I've seen M.Patton with Fantomas, Peeping Tom and ofc Faith No More and would love to complete the set.
It's like a Japanese version of Sleepless in Seattle...
...for a bit.
Get the popcorn in and settle down with the family to watch then?
Well, my wife loves the Takashi Miike stuff but she has very similar taste to mine
