Yeah really enjoyed that one. Definitely won't be for everyone but I really liked its originality.
Great soundtrack by Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury too.
It's **** annoying that one. Keeps popping up on YouTube ads and at the cinema.
I think the premise is loosely based on The Ring, which is fitting as I'd love to see Sadako crawl out of some of those irritating ladies TV's.
I said exactly that. I thought it was well made and well acted, but I have absolutely no desire for a rewatch. Nolan is a very hit and miss Director for me.
I thought it was terrific. Really well made, lots of fun and visually dazzling.
Special mention for Ryan Gosling who must be one of the most versatile actors of his generation.
But it's an optional mode.
Literally no-one forces the players to leave their Eternal Realm character and join Seasons. No-one.
I find it baffling that what is basically an additional mode that extends the gameplay of the main game (for those who hit a ceiling in the Eternal Realm) can get criticised.
I've used it to level my Hardcore character and have had a lot of fun with it. It's a perfect opportunity to have a crack at the other classes.
Zero chance of that - they've been doing Seasons for a long time now (they were in Diablo 2 but called Ladders) and are hugely popular with (most of) the player base.
Here you go
It's a big one (ken gif), Sorc and Barb buffs and lot's of other bits and pieces. I've been waiting for the Sorc buffs before I attempt to play any further in the main game as the last patch kinda broke the class as a viable option.
Ivans in Cradley Heath. Been there since the 50s and has always been highly regarded by the local populace (and others more far flung).
Definitely my go to plaice.
There are a few scenes which are violent, but its certainly nothing unnecessarily OTT.
It's more about the unnerving mood and clever storytelling.
For a debut feature it's really impressive.
