Watched it at the weekend mate - it's very good indeed (a little bit cliched here and there but a really nice story) and McCounaghy and the two kids are great.
Isn't it the same as Blacksmithing was for me? At around 560-570 you could buy new plans from a vendor in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Took me about 10 minutes after that because I had all the mats.
***EDIT*** This is from a guide I Googled:
I'd go 8.5 hadn't read the book but as Pie Face said was pretty much awesome, went a bit nuts towards the finish but I still loved it.
Just back from this myself, brilliant movie and an absolutely incredible performance from James McAvoy, although to be fair the whole cast is superb (Eddie Marsan and Shirley Henderson in particular). Some differences from the book as I expected but great nonetheless.
The thing with The Fall is for me, is that it wasn't really a gradual liking. I first heard them when a mate gave me a 7" of Telephone Thing around 89-90 and upon first play I thought 'what the **** was that?' then I listened to the B-Side 'British People in Hot Weather' and still thought 'what the **** was that?'.
Then a year or so later I put it on again and thought 'what the **** was that? that was brilliant'.
And i've been a fan ever since. Once you get them, you'll have them forever.
