  1. We should have a look at that Lolley lad from Kidderminster. I hear he's a Villa fan too.
  2. Just had a couple of bottles of London Porter and Kentish Ale from a client, so that's me sorted for later.
  3. I missed it off my original list, but this is definitely up there too:
  4. Brilliant. The planning scene with the blackboard
  5. Don't they? I'd be very disappointed if I found out that that's not really you in your avatar BOF Yep Tuco likes big fat men like that. When they fall they make more noise, and sometimes they don't get up.
  6. Yes, I enjoyed Everything Must Go (Rebecca Hall ) and I think Ferrell is decent when playing it straight (see Stranger than Fiction for further evidence). **EDIT** AVFCDAN - Great minds eh?
  7. This. Although to be fair that's pretty much my life in a nutshell anyway.
  8. Each to their own but I would hate to be away from home at Christmas time. The idea of being in another country this time of year does absolutely nothing for me.
  9. We are a poor club from top to bottom at the moment. If this continues make no mistake we are relegation candidates.
  10. Finally picked up the first season yesterday from GMG. Looking forward to it.
  11. This year, just take 2 hours from your life and watch Love actually. At worst you'll lose two hours of your life but will at least be rewarded with God only knows. It's such a great film. And I definitely wouldn't count it as a chick flick, just english comedy/drama/romance at its best with some of the best actors you've got right now. Liam Neeson is in it. Or just watch something good for two hours instead. Richard Curtis Aaaaaaghh!! Oh look, there's some slightly quirky middle class people doing slightly odd things whilst being terribly English about it all. **** OFF!!!! Sorry . Really don't like anything he's done (apart from Blackadder ofc).
  12. And of course, spot the famous Breaking Bad character... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WMErc1n6Ks
  13. Has anyone got this yet? Be interested to see how it differs from the original mod.
  14. Yeah, i've never ever seen the colourised version and have absolutely no desire to do so, I have the B/W DVD version. Agree about the George C.Scott version, very good indeed but Sim is the master.
  15. and Also love Muppet Xmas Carol and Scrooged.
  16. That takes me back to when I first joined VT If you were around then, you'll know what I mean.
  17. I think i'm about 25% of the way through at the moment. It's absolutely brilliant though isn't it? A massive improvement on 3 and definitely up there with the brilliance of 2 and Brotherhood for me.
  18. Anchorman 2 was fine. Obviously never going to match the quality of the first movie, tremendously baggy in places and definitely overlong. There were a couple of story threads that could easily have been trimmed (I won't say which because of spoilers) and quite a few gags relied on retreads from the first movie (although one of these is brilliant in it's attempt to outdo the original). But, to it's credit I laughed like a drain at a lot of it, and when it's funny it's really funny. So pretty much what I expected to be honest. Definitely worth a watch if you love the original.
  19. Off to see Anchorman 2 in a bit. I know it will disappoint, but i'm hoping for at least a glimpse of the originals genius.
  20. I'm choosing to finish on midday Xmas Eve. I'll probably regret not opting to finish earlier but hey ho.
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Y8PeR6vpcs Thought 'Rise' was great so really looking forward to this.
