  1. Yeah, posted this a couple of pages ago. Really like it. Obviously a jab at some of the entitled feedback they received over the name change.
  2. There are two Cape Fear movies, the original is 1962 (Robert Mitchum) and the 1990 version (De Niro). We can never be friends.
  3. Yeah I added Nosferatu for that very reason. Still a stunning piece of work all these years later.
  4. There are literally too many to list. My favourite movie of all time is 12 Angry Men and that was 1957. I know you are a horror fan so just off the top of my head pre 70s you'd have... Night of the Living Dead Psycho Rosemary's Baby Nosferatu The Haunting The Innocents Children of the Damned Peeping Tom Twisted Nerve Devil Rides Out Masque of the Red Death Most of the Amicus/Hammer studio movies Diabolical Cape Fear Night of the Hunter Night of the Demon That's just a few and one specific genre. There are an absolute shitload. When it comes to movies, in my opinion you shouldn't restrict yourself to genre, time period or country of origin. To do so would mean you will miss out on so so much.
  5. Todays Blu ray boxset delivery made me think of @sne
  6. I thought it was great fun Dem. Absolutely daft as a brush but very entertaining.
  7. He's definitely an enigma isn't he? Lots of reports from younger wrestlers about how absolutely brilliant he is at giving out guidance and advice, and many of his peers say he's a really good pro to work with (Stone Cold was very complimentary iirc) and then you get incidents like this which paint him as a bit of a tit. I suspect the truth is, he's just a very complex and flawed guy with forthright opinions on right and wrong. I've always liked him tbh.
  8. Disappointed no-one got this Kenny Williams reference. You've let me down VT wrestling fans
  9. Hope someone gets that reference...
  10. Watched the first couple of episodes of The Horror of Dolores Roach on Prime. Very decent so far.
  11. She was very good in the wholesome family comedy Eden Lake.
  12. It is for me. No work until next month after today
  13. It's almost as if you have no **** idea what you're talking about Just because the ending of the matches and the storylines are scripted doesn't mean wrestlers bodies don't get battered physically. It's a ridiculously demanding profession both mentally and on the body. Funk was a bona fide Legend in wrestling. Just because you don't understand its appeal or how it all works doesn't change that fact.
  14. l just learned how to perform an emergency tracheotomy with a steak knife.
  15. New single from SOFT PLAY (formerly SLAVES). Noice...
  16. Off to a 'Scream Unseen' tonight at my local Odeon (basically a horror version of Screen Unseen). I have a pretty good record at these blind showings so hopefully this will be something decent.
  17. Brilliant film. Love The Green Butchers by the same director.
  18. Each to their own, but that is quite the ridiculous rule you've applied to yourself there. You are missing out on so many superb films.
  19. Still plenty of Blu rays being sold iirc. Obviously theres been a decline due to online services but I'd imagine it's similar to the CD/Vinyl lovers, as there will always be people who prefer the physical media over streaming. Personally, I own around 2,000 Blu rays and am in the process of updating around 1,000 of my DVDs (including Twin Town actually) to Blu ray. I buy around 5 or 6 a month and the list is always growing. **edit** There's nowt like receiving something like this in the post. You don't get that buzz just pressing play on Netflix...
