  2. I used it a few weeks ago and dare say I'll be popping on from time to time.
  3. Ah, I get it now. **** me, that is as tenuous as it gets.
  4. don't we need to move the "e" 1 pixel to the right and down now that google changed their logo ? No, I bloody well don't!
  5. Or ghosts of aliens...
  6. Unless it's Papa Emeritus and his Unnamed Ghouls i'm not interested. But seriously, it's a load of old cobblers and there is a rational explanation behind each 'experience' or 'sighting'.
  7. Wouldn't have had you down as a Ghibli fan Mike. It's on my list so glad you enjoyed it.
  8. Started House of Cards. The Spacey love-in is already well underway.
  9. I think the best (admittedly of a bad bunch) of video game movie tie-ins is definitely the first Silent Hill. Not a great film by any stretch of the imagination, but it was reasonably entertaining and it definitely had the look and feel of a SH game. I seem to recall an interview with the director who admitted being a massive SH fan who trawled through the different games finding camera angles / lighting to use in his movie.
  10. I don't want any toast and he doesn't want any toast, in fact, no one around here wants any toast. Not now, not ever. No toast.
  11. EVERYONE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yC7HwPh6Es
  12. Bit of Loach to round the weekend off.
  13. Ignore them Ingram. I have hair exactly the same as yours. But it's not on my head.
  14. Finally finishing off a huge web design project and sitting back relaxing with a beer in the garden.
  15. Searching For Sugar Man is on before it, which is brilliant. OK, catching up a bit. This should probably be in the TV thread, but whatever. Yeah, I watched Troubadors (again). I have it on DVD, but that whole genre is indeed right up my street. And I also watched Searching for Sugarman, which is indeed utterly brilliant. Although I had vaguely heard about the Rodriguez saga, this was the first time I'd heard his actual recordings. Wow. Fantastic stuff, will be purchasing both albums, sharpish. And he seems like a top bloke, too. I remember a while ago (probably going back a few years) recommending Rodriguez to you Mike, as I had the feeling he would be right up your street. Glad you finally had a listen As for the documentary, it's a brilliantly put together piece or work, and as you say he comes across as a top fella. I have to thank David Holmes and his Free Association for introducing me to him (not in the literal sense of course).
