Yeah I remember it.
It was former poster @Sie who debunked absolutely everything thrown at him by the non-believers and in the end they had to admit defeat.
Saw this last night...
Enjoyed it.
I'd imagine if you liked the other two of Branaghs outings as Poirot you'll get something from this.
It has a darker tone, a more streamlined story (less main characters which allows more focus on the overall narrative) and is beautifully shot and well directed (by Branagh).
Good stuff.
It was on at my local cinemas this week Chris.
They have quite the cult following so still do pretty good numbers.
It's also reviewed pretty well (they usually get panned).
I had a chat with the director of the original film many years ago. Decent bloke tbh.
Superb and very hard hitting drama, based around the true story of Paul Connolly who along with many others suffered horrific abuse at St Leonards Children's home in the 70s.
A difficult watch at times, but a brilliant film nonetheless, anchored by a terrific performance from Michael Socha (This is England, The Gallows Pole).
Lies of P
Baldurs Gate 3
Gat out of Hell (decided to finally finish off the Plat after recently Platting Saints Row 3).
Plenty of good stuff on the go at the moment
One of those franchises I never 'got'. Think the only one I enjoyed was the 3d one on N64. Other than that, they just leave me cold (thought Odyssey was one of the most overrated games of all time).
Recommend these couple of indie psychological Drama/Horrors I watched this week.
Both good, with interesting, well written stories and both featuring strong female lead performances.
Good stuff
It's a reboot tbh Dem, not a remake.
It's a very average open world game which doesn't have any of the subversive OTT entertainment of the original Saints Row 1-4.
I was really disappointed tbh.
Decent bit of daftness.
Denzel as watchable as ever, plenty of bone crunching OTT violence and entertaining enough. Better than the first one but I think two was definitely the strongest of the three.
Off to see Cobweb later, which I've been looking forward to for a while now.
