  1. I enjoyed Broadchurch, a few daft bits here and there but overall kept me entertained. It's also worth watching just for Olivia Colman, who is such a bloody great actress.
  2. The Rev is the man to ask.
  3. Looking forward to having a blast later on - it really has come on in leaps and bounds the last couple of patches.
  4. I might be getting one for free so it would be rude not to try it
  5. Gigantic slab of Blues infused Rock with a big Led Zep influence http://youtu.be/lzMgeKB41l8
  6. I'm kind of hoping that by 2050 the Ice Bucket Challenge might have finished.
  7. As a fan of the TV show, Porridge, I like the word 'naff'. Could be wrong, but I think it comes from Polari. Yes indeed, see also 'Nerk' which I have used on many an occasion much to the bemusement of most people.
  8. Nah, I liked Season 4. Especially one the best holy shit moments in TV the mid way finale of season 4, and how the crew responds to it in the episodes after that. Probably the highlight of the show that. I also really liked the ending, but I know it was one that might not be to everyones taste. Season 1 and first half of season 2 are the weakest, but that's the same for most big story arc shows. Am I right in saying that there are pilot episodes before the first season? (seem to remember reading that) and if so, is it important to watch those first?
  9. I've really enjoyed all of Boardwalk Empire but I thought season 4 was the best so far. It was just incredibly well written.
  10. Did you get one of these Hogso? I'm gonna pick one up at the weekend as it seems the 'go to' piece of kit. I did not! Unfortunately I haven't really had much chance to dump very much time in to the beta, so don't think it would be worth it just yet. Although playing with a mouse & keyboard really frustrates me. I went and picked one up earlier today and I have to say, if anyone is already playing or will be playing the game at some point in the future, then it makes it a 100% better experience. Took about 2 minutes to set up and there's already a profile for it within the game so you're set to go straight away. Haven't bothered tweaking anything (even though it's completely customisable) as the default settings are very good anyway. Also had my first taste of combat after being chased by 3 pirates for my cargo tonight. Ended up taking one out and escaping from the other 2 with a few moves and some luck. Absolute breathless stuff Oh, and this game has some of the best sound design i've ever heard in a game - totally imerses you.
  11. He looks really well there, it's absolutely lovely to see
  12. Give me a spit and sawdust pub with pork scratchings and a decent ale and I'm a happy chap. You're correct about being able to sense a bad atmosphere too.
  13. All the best people were born that year.
  14. Did you get one of these Hogso? I'm gonna pick one up at the weekend as it seems the 'go to' piece of kit.
  15. Played a few hours last night. First impressions: It's just beautiful. The fact that they've kept the core of the game the same as the original really stood out when I realised some of the manoeuvres / skills that i'd learnt all those years ago still have relevance. The first time I docked into a Coriolis Space Station I very nearly did a sex wee.
  16. How Hearthstone would have looked like if we released it 25 years ago on Gameboy...
  17. I'm getting on the beta when I get in later. I've only been waiting about 30 years for a new version so what's another couple of hours.
  18. Cracking little psychological thriller
  19. Superb stuff. The scene with Gleeson Snr and Jnr was mesmerising.
  20. Might have to watch Brighton Rock tomorrow
  21. Has anyone seen Hemlock Grove? if so, thoughts please.
