  1. First major update for the PS4 version with brand new content hits today
  2. Gonna have to try this... http://youtu.be/DZgN4uJ1bNc
  3. I thought the second series paled in comparison to the first tbh. Still good, but could have been better.
  4. This game gets better and better. Once you start to unlock more abilities it becomes an absolute pleasure to play. Brilliant entertainment.
  5. Congratulations, Simon. At what time this morning did she remind you? Haha! Cheers Darren. Don't worry, I wouldn't dare forget
  6. Yeah it's awful having to live with someone I completely love and respect.
  7. I've been married to Mrs.Designer for 17 years today - and yes before all you cynical bastards say it, i have posted this in the right thread!
  8. I've found using the buildings and structures a decent tactic. Get up high and pick them off until they chase you, then get back to ground level and attack them coming down.
  9. four is better I do regret getting rid of my 4 button dog tooth prince of wales check boating jacket that I usually wore with a purple n yellow polka dot shirt, fiurucci jeans (mentally expensive, then cut the labels off so only people that recognised the stitching knew what they were) and a pair of b/w bowling shoes (the red / white / blue bowling shoes would have looked ridiculous). These days I generally slop around in an oversized Spillers Records tee shirt and a pair of craghopper walking trousers. There's a photo of me somewhere (i'll pretend i can't find it) at a school disco in 1986 with a few of my mates. They were wearing the usual attire of the time, which consisted of grey Farah trousers, pink or lemon shirts, patent leather shoes and white socks. I'm stood there in a German parka, boating jacket, Jam skinny tie (from Carnaby Street no less) and bowling shoes. I think it's fair to say I had just discovered Quadrophenia
  10. One thing I will say is that this definitely isn't an easy game (which is a good thing). You really have to work on your strategies when taking on multiple enemies if you don't want to get overwhelmed.
  11. Yes, first time was on the Dig Lazarus Dig Tour (with Bicks and Blandy as a matter of fact) and also saw him with Grinderman. He absolutely, postively owns the stage. Totally mesmeric.
  12. Yeah, got mine sorted for Nottingham. Sixty quid but it's Nick Cave innit?
  13. First impressions (a couple of hours in) - It looks incredible, beautiful level of detail and excellent lighting effects - The combat is very solid and intuitive and reminds me of a cross between Arkham Asylum / City and Assassins Creed - There doesn't appear to be a massive amount of variation in gameplay - but I put that down to how little i've played so far So, pretty impressed so far.
  14. You might pay a few quid more for a brand new title but his trade in prices and range of second hand games means he'll always have me as a loyal customer.
  15. Been buying from him for about 20 years now. Used to go there when it was Sega Supplies Support your local indie shop i say!
  16. Local Indie game shop Neil? Yes indeed. Phoned him up on the off chance as he occasionally get the games a day or so early.
  17. It genuinely amazes me when I read some of the posts in this thread, I just don't understand situations like that at all. Relationships are supposed to enhance your life, not destroy it.
  18. Just got my copy (PS4) - quite excited about this one as the reviews has been positive and it sounds right up my street.
  19. I wasn't expecting it to be cheap, but £65 is a tad excessive. I'll probably still go though. He's playing Nottingham too I think, which might mean you having to shell out less for travel etc. Think i'll be doing the Nottingham gig.
  20. Right, before he comes back we'll all hide.
  21. http://youtu.be/0YBumQHPAeU Cassetteboy
  22. I knew you had some decent taste locked away somewhere Still gets my vote for one of the best concept albums ever. Pity it all went downhill from there
