This x 1,000 - Can't believe I didn't put it on my list to be honest. Even as an 11 year old I was underwhelmed by the whole film.

I was at the first ever episode of Raw to be filmed in the UK. It was a fun night from what I can remember.

Just watched the rather excellent One and Only Mike Leigh documentary on iplayer. If like me you're a fan of his work then it's well worth a watch.

Cheers for the game online earlier. I admit to being a noon at online gta so hadn't a clue what was going on or what to do lol That made two of us then. Didn't have a scoobie what was going on but it was fun.

Yes he has done some crap. With the exception of Once Upon a Time in the Midlands which I admit was poor (mostly down to a lack of creative control on his part) which of his other work would you consider 'crap'?

To be fair, Transformers 4 and Spiderman 3 got a critical mauling so aren't really overrated (just shite ). Agree on Avatar though, the praise for that was really puzzling considering it was basically an overlong tech demo.

Not a bad film - but as the thread suggests, massively overrated. Certainly no Spartacus.

It has a very, very good reputation (rightly so, it's a **** masterpiece imo) and then there's the 4 Academy Awards, two Golden Globes and it being critically acclaimed by the majority.

I like it. It has a feel of a 90's alt rock band with more melody (I like the male/female vocal combination). Excellent drummer too. Nothing I haven't heard before but not too shabby at all
