The amount of pretence in that film actually makes me laugh
It's just such a bad movie, everyone wondering around looking utterly bemused and wondering what the **** they are doing there.
A perfect summation of AHS and my thoughts exactly. It doesn't take itself too seriously and is ridiculously OTT at times but it's just so much fun. I've always had a particular **ahem** admiration for Jessica Lange too, and you can tell she's having a great time in her various roles.
One of my favourites from last year - I think Jack O'Connell is a huge talent, and as for Ben Mendelsohn? An absolute cut above many contemporary actors imo.
Our Xmas regulars are Scrooged, Bad Santa and then Muppets Christmas Carol and Scrooge (with Alistair Sim) on Xmas Eve. Been doing those for years now, and it wouldn't be the same without them.
If you don't like LOTR films, watch some of Jackson's pre middle earth stuff, a couple of really good films there.
Yep, Bad Taste, Braindead and Heavenly Creatures are all great, but I especially love Meet the Feebles which is basically the Muppets on acid.
Nice - have you heard "Milking The Stars" yet?
Yeah, I had it on straight after that this morning actually. Prefer the normal version if i'm honest.
Seen them live Rob? Always a good show. The first time I saw them was in the late 90's I think at the Wolves Civic.
I know he gets pelters from a few people but I always look forward to a new Tarantino movie. I find his plagiarism is sometimes ridiculously OTT and obvious but i'm never less than entertained by his movies and I would love to go for a beer with the bloke and just chat movies. From interviews i've read, he's just the ultimate movie fan boy and incredibly enthusiastic about the whole movie genre which is something I can completely identify with.
I even enjoyed the Grindhouse movies so ner ner
