  1. Really looking forward to The Flash, it's next on my (DC) list as i believe its best watched after Arrow season 2. It's a pity season 3 of Arrow has got quite a few ropey reviews as I thought the second series was top notch entertainment.
  2. I think it's the best game of this generation. But I love sandbox type games, and I'm a sucker for quests with a good story and a bit of emotional investment so it's pretty much perfect for me.
  3. Father John Misty - I Love You Honey Bear Beautiful album with some wonderfully acerbic lyrics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57yHnFN0J-M
  4. Ah, you've met the 'Brummie' Baron then?
  5. When you reach the second main area (Velen) the game really opens up. Without spoiling anything, a couple of the side quests have had me grinning like an idiot at how brilliantly written their storylines are. And that's one of the many standout things that i've noticed throughout the game so far, all of the quests (whether main or not) have rich back stories that mean you get more emotionally involved when playing them. I haven't felt the urge to skip a single piece of dialogue and have even been reading though the books that are scattered around the world. From a world-building point of view, it really is top notch.
  6. [hyperbole] played around 15 hours now and it's comfortably the best game of this generation and one of the best RPG's I've ever played [/hyperbole]
  7. Just finished Gomorra. I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. Absolutely breathtaking TV.
  8. I love the Yahtzee reviews but I would never, ever buy a game based on one of them.
  9. The graphics are excellent, some of the areas look absolutely stunning and I haven't had a single bit of slowdown even with multiple enemies on the screen.
  10. Yep, another recommendation for Jim. A good lad and he does a good job
  11. Unless he machine guns an opposition player and then rapes his corpse it's not going to happen
  12. "it don't mean nothing, not a thing". Yes, it's great.
  13. Only played a couple of hours so far and i'm pretty much hooked already. Everything so far is impressive, the world itself which is dripping with atmosphere and the characters that inhabit it are all superb. They've sorted out the clunky combat, and the spell system seems to be much more fluid. I'm just taking in the sights at the moment and doing a few quests here and there, all of which have been interesting and have some sort of decent backstory. If I had to make a lazy comparison I would say Red Dead Redemption crossed with Skyrim.
  14. Is Blomkamp the new M Night Shyamlan - great first film and then endless disappointing pap? It's certainly looking that way isn't it? Such a shame because I thought District 9 had a really interesting directorial uniqueness to it and i'd hoped his subsequent movies would be of a similar standard. As people have said though - Chappie...urgh.
  15. This game, bloody hell.
  16. Michael Shannon would be great as the Saint of Killers.
  17. I bet he regrets that night out with Rugeley now.
  18. A man was sitting in Wembley Stadium at the cup final, all alone with an empty seat at his side. Someone asked, "So who bought a ticket and didn't bother to come?" The man replied: "Actually, it's my wife's. She and I have gone to every cup final together since we were married over fifty years ago. The reason the seat is empty is that she has passed away." "Well, couldn't you have given her ticket to a friend?" came the response. The man replied, "Unfortunately not. They've all gone to her funeral."
  19. I don't think Gerrard or Lampard were in the same ball park as Scholes to be honest. Probably my favourite Premier League player, and an absolute delight to watch (apart from his tackling of course )
  20. Please don't **** it up, Please don't **** it up, Please don't **** it up, Please don't **** it up... (it's the first on-set shot from the Preacher TV adaptation - and yes that is indeed Jesse and Arseface)
  21. I actually haven't had anyone die of it, I've obviously heard about friends relatives who have had it and stuff bit I don't think I actually know anyone xwho has had it let alone died of it You're extremely lucky there leemond. Without exaggeration, if I think through my friends and family there's practically no-one I know who hasn't been affected by it, or had someone very close to them affected by it. Cancer, what a word removed.
