  1. I hope he does OK at his next job. I don't hold any malice towards him from his time here, he just wasn't up to the job.
  2. Way more. I should add that I couldn't stand him long before he ever became Villa manager. O'Leary was a div, but at least he had some skills in management to back it up.
  3. I think the bit in bold is the key for me. I had an hour or two on it last night and did the usual thing I do with games like this and Skyrim. Namely putting a mark on the map a gazillion miles away and just walking off towards it looking at the world and getting into trouble. It created a couple of moments (I won't go into specifics, because it's spoilery) which just had me grinning like a loon and thinking to myself 'yeah, this is Fallout'. Got a night in on my own tonight and I genuinely can't wait for a good session on it.
  4. I genuinely don't give a toss where he ends up to be honest, although I feel a little sorry for the fans of the club he finally rocks up to. I'm just so glad he's no longer associated with us as I genuinely cannot stand the bloke. A 'proper' football man? Nah, a proper charlatan gobshite.
  5. It's awful isn't it? Seems to happen more and more these days too, along with letting someone out when driving and not even getting a raised hand in thanks. Every time the door one happens I give it the very loud and sarcastic 'Thanks! You're welcome' as they walk past. Bunch of bad mannered, ungrateful words removed.
  6. I'm not too scared of the actual process of dying (unless it's particularly long and drawn out) because I made my peace a long time ago with death being the absolute end. I'd rather not die any time soon though, as I happen to rather enjoy life What does terrify me is the thought of losing either of my daughters or my wife before me. Now that IS a **** awful and scary thought.
  7. Haha! Brilliant...
  8. This is all rather excellent at the moment. Really enjoying the world.
  9. Couple of hours in. It isn't anything brilliant to look at. The combat system is still clunky and has only been improved slightly. The companion control is a little awkward. The inventory system is still a little unintuitive. To be honest, the whole thing feels very much like just another Fallout game with more whistles and bells. Oh welcome back. I've missed you
  10. As always with the Twitter/Facebook conversation they are both fine if you choose to follow/friend the right people. I find Twitter incredibly useful for film related gubbins.
  11. Fargo continues to be the best thing on TV at the moment. The writing and dialogue puts so many other shows to shame.
  12. The one thing that i'm hoping it has, is the huge open map style of New Vegas rather than the huge map with closed areas and invisible walls of Fallout 3. That was the one thing that really put me off 3, I didn't like the fact that the open world was in fact largely smoke and mirrors and it seemed to be a series of large interconnected areas rather than the 'stick a point somewhere on the map and off you go' approach of NV (and Skyrim). Really looking forward to playing it anyway. The sense of humour and sense of exploration are massive selling points to the series and it looks as though this entry retains both.
  13. "Like and Share if you are for comparing unrelated things" **** bang on the money that.
  14. What drives a man to such extremes?
  15. Thought I'd switched over to Red Dwarf for a second then before I realised it was the Huddersfield match on Sky. Sorry Joe
  16. For a bit of fun recently I designed a retro style version of a poster for the movie It Follows (adore that film) and thought I'd tweet it to the director. He sent me a nice complimentary message back and retweeted it to his followers. Which was nice
  17. I'd disagree with you there mate. Some of the Warcraft Lore is utterly fantastic, and down the years there have been story strands that have made even a cynical bastard like myself 'Ooo and ah' In fact, one of the reasons I was so positive about a Warcraft movie (or a series of Warcraft movies) is that they have such a rich tapestry of stories and history to choose from it's easy pickings. Basically, everything is there on a plate.
  18. I would have been much happier if there had been a shot of a village with a guy walking around holding a sign that said 'LFG!'
  19. It does doesn't it? I mean, as a fan I was expecting to be picky but then as I was watching the trailer, the movie critic kicked in and I started to think ' OK, I know this is something i've wanted to see for around a decade, but **** me that looks kinda crap'. Deflated
  20. Getting my copy on Monday. Quite* looking forward to it. *massively **** excited
  21. As a massive fan of the world of Azeroth that has left me massively underwhelmed. I had high hopes with Bowie Jnr in the director seat but the whole thing looks poor so far.
  22. Glad you're OK mate. Had a very similar episode about 5 years ago and it's bloody scary. As Pompey says, take it as a sign and try and take it a bit easier (appreciate that it's easier said than done sometimes)
