  1. About 3-4 months ago. That's one of the things i'm going to try later on once i've finished my work for the day. It's running absolutely fine at the moment, and I just tried a particularly memory intensive game in the background and that didn't cause any issues.
  2. Hi folks, I'm having an intermittent BSOD on my home PC. Seems to only happen when i'm playing memory intensive games (it's fine when i'm browsing the net and even using apps like Photoshop), and has only began to happen the last couple of days. From reading online the particular error message I get (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA) seems to be RAM related. I ran the standard Windows memory check but that didn't find any errors. So, can anyone recommend a more intensive (free if possible) test that will identify that the RAM is the issue before I fork out for replacement memory? I've read that memtest86 is good, had anyone tried that? Cheers.
  3. Had a go on the OR a few times and really enjoyed it. Very interested in VR as a whole and I firmly believe it will be the next big thing. 'Immersion' is a main driving factor in games and has been for a number of years so if the tech is up-to-scratch and doesn't cause health issues (something that has plagued it's progress for years) then I can't see any reason for it to fail. Particularly interested in the Sony VR headset.
  4. Just watched Tale of Two Sisters again and it never loses any of its appeal. Jee Woon Kim has a small selection of movies as a director, but what a fantastic selection. Tale of two Sisters, Quiet Family, Bittersweet Life and I Saw the Devil are all incredible movies. Recommended viewing.
  5. On a related subject, limp handshakes...just no. I don't want my hand crushed but put a bit of effort in please.
  6. Plus, anyone who has seen Shattered Glass knows that he actually can act.
  7. Happy New Year you lovely sods - Just remember, we all follow a football club that has absolutely no redeeming features at the moment and we do that with an unquestionable loyalty. HOW **** UP IS THAT?
  8. Superb band, but I would never consider Zeppelin to be metal.
  9. Clint Eastwood Doug Ellis Bruce Forsyth Max Von Sydow Paul Gascoigne
  10. Four Horsemen was developed from a track written by Dave Mustaine called 'The Mechanics' iirc. Such a pity he had so many issues at the time which meant him being booted out the band as he absolutely destroys Hammett in the guitar stakes.
  11. Kill 'em All is a rough car crash of an album made by a band who were still desperately trying to find their niche in the already flooded genre at the time. It wasn't until Burton came more to the fore in Ride the Lightning that they really started to find their feet musically, and even then that album had some awful songs 'Trapped under Ice' and in particular 'Escape' were pretty bad. Then of course came the genuine masterpiece Master of Puppets (Hetfield's sublime rhythm work and Burton's bass in full groove) and the high point of their creative output. Everything after that? well, apart from the odd track on Justice for All it's all a 'load' of w**k.
  12. I'll be doing what I usually do. Buy loads of games for PC and console, get about 60-70% through each of them and then move onto the next one I think Dark Souls 3 and Ni No Kuni 2 will be the main games i'm looking forward to, along with the next Warcaft expansion.
  13. Do you like Bruce Campbell and the Evil Dead movies? If the answer is yes them it's a must see.
  14. Enjoyed it on first viewing but absolutely loved it the second time around. Not without it's issues, but it's a wonderfully entertaining movie.
  15. We really are the Phantom Menace of the Premier League.
  16. Fuller than a fat birds shoe today. So much food and drink.
  17. Uncle Acid smash the shit out of anything BRMC have ever recorded imo (and I like a bit of BRMC).
  18. Four Bathams and a bottle of white down, so i'm laying off for now as I don't want a hangover when the kids are opening their presents at (i've just been informed) 5.30am tomorrow
  19. Happy Christmas you bunch of magnificent bastards.
