  1. I absolutely hated Enter the Void, Noe disappeared up his own arse with that one. Irreversible is brilliant though, albeit in a completely horrible way. It's a film i've only ever 'experienced' once. To say that it was enjoyable would be a lie, but it definitely stayed with me. Haven't seen Capturing the Friedmans but the others are good movies, Whiplash in particular was a glaring omission. Those lists are always the same though aren't they? The word 'definitive' should never, ever be used when in conjunction with something as subjective as film.
  2. The setting, the music, the acting, the direction, the simple-on-the-surface yet very complex story (there's some excellent articles online breaking the whole thing down and the level of detail is fantastic) the whole mood of the piece and the fact that it works on so many different levels (metaphysical / social for example) and it's ability to switch between genres without being jarring. He (Richard Kelly) did the old 'catching lightning in a bottle' and as he's shown since, he'll never write or direct anything like it again. It's unique, fascinating, and I love every single frame of it. Just avoid the Directors Cut, and the less said about the 'sequel' the better
  3. Both great, but DD is my second favourite movie of all time and really needs to be on the list.
  4. Just realised there's no Donnie Darko on there. Which pretty much means the list is null and void and a total waste of time
  5. Haven't seen 31 or 89. Good list overall though. **edit**haven't seen 99 either
  6. I'm glad it wasn't just me. Looked at the pic a few times and thought 'this is gonna be something blindingly obvious so I'm not going to say anything'
  7. I'm a few hours into it and it's been fantastic so far. One thing i've noticed is that the difficulty seems to have been ramped up considerably and i've been thrown into some pretty hard situations quite early on. That's not a criticism by the way, just an observation.
  8. The fact the Coventry badge is in that list tells you all you need to know.
  9. Just a quick note (and I realise I practically have this thread to myself these days so it'll probably fall on deaf ears ) If there is anyone with a level 90 (or even earlier level) that they wanted to level up before Legion hits then now is the time. The Invasions offer ridiculous XP and gear rewards. I've levelled up two toons to 100 (90 Hunter / 90 Pally) in the last week or so and I reckon it's taken me about 4-5 hours for each one. You tend to get close to half a bar per invasion (if you join in and don't just leech) so it takes no time at all. You also get 2 x gear chests each invasion which can be stored until level 100 and then opened which usually take you to over 700 ilevel. Gonna get my 90 Monk and Shammy sorted next
  10. We're not **** about are we? Suitably impressed so far.
  11. Someone who can only beat crap opposition and isn't up to much against the better teams.
  12. I Ah, It sounds as though i've been following the wrong path. I've been following the one that I assume eventually leads to the center of the Universe. Looks like I need to make a detour...
  13. Enjoying the pre-patch Legion Invasions. This was Crossroads earlier...
  14. Really struggling to find the Atlas Pass (v1). I've warped 8+ times but still no 'anomaly'. Any tips?
  15. That bald chap who played for Newcastle and proceeded to go completely tonto by booting the ever loving crap out of the billboards after scoring a goal. Played for Wolves too iirc.
  16. I think your ships **** mate
  17. Played the pre-credit level last night and anyone who has played Human Revolution will be right at home. From the small time i've played it certainly doesn't look as though they've tried to reinvent the wheel. Looking forward to getting a bit further into it as from what i've read it's even more open and expanded than HR.
