  1. I watched some of the reviews and had a couple of finished games to trade so I thought why not. Looking forward to having a go later today.
  2. Pretty much the opposite from what i've been told tbh.
  3. Better or worse Darren? I love them both but Holy Grail is more consistent. Every scene is a hit
  4. Just popped Monty Python and the Holy Grail on for the umpteenth time. About 20 seconds in and I'm in bits already
  5. Only just seen that reply Tone - Nice one
  6. So yeah, I thought it was pretty poor tbh. it's basically a (very) bad B-Movie with a huge budget. To say the characters are wafer thin would be doing a disservice to wafers. Apart from John C Reilly (who at least gets a little bit of backstory) you literally do not give a flying **** about any of them because they are all so blandly drawn with only the slightest of characteristics. None of that would matter as much (this is a monster movie after all) if the rest of the movie wasn't so cut and paste. The story offers up nothing new and you can see where every single action sequence is going to go and there wasn't a single bit of originality in any of the set pieces. There's also the matter of excruciatingly bad dialogue interspersed with awful attempts at humour which fail every single time. I genuinely couldn't wait for it to end.
  7. Off to see Kong: Skull Island in a bit. From the reviews, i'm expecting a loud, brash, very stupid but entertaining ride. Kind of like a woman from Lye but with less fur.
  8. I would happily have it erased from my memory forever. I LOATHE that film.
  9. Do yourself a BIG favour and don't waste your time on F.Gump. Sentimental, sign posted, manipulative bobbins. And that's me being kind.
  10. Spencer Tracey is great in that. Sturges really did make some absolute belters in his time.
  11. Somewhere around the 85 Nil mark I reckon. Actually no, scrap that. Bang on 85 Nil.
  12. That's the one i'm anticipating the most. It looks amazing so far.
  13. Yep, needless to say I totally disagree. There was SO much more to it than that, but like I said different strokes and all that.
  14. I enjoyed last weeks as I like the Dwight character. I think they've handled his inner conflict well and it's a bit better than some of the more 'cut and paste' characters. The Eugene parts didn't work as well though. As for this weeks? **** hell. That was easily one of the worst episodes i've ever seen (and there have been some absolute stinkers). 1. The way they were so cocky about killing the walkers really riled me up. Yes, they are 'hardened' fighters now, but that just took the piss. 2. The fall through the floor into a load of food. **** off. 3. And the crowning turd in the toilet bowl...the scene when Rick threw Michonne her sword like something out of a very bad action movie. I actually shouted 'Oh just **** off! at the screen'. What a load of cobblers.
  15. Fair enough, that's the beauty of films innit It blew me away tbh.
  16. An absolutely superb psychological thriller from Japan. If you like your movies with a dark disturbing undercurrent and a few hints of Hitchcock then it's a must see
  17. Yep. I put a fair few hours in again yesterday and it's absolutely fantastic. Up to level 15 now and it's really opened up.
  18. Re.Logan... Apart from that I thought it was superb.
