So Iron Fist... 4 epsiodes in and yeah I kinda like it. The direction is pretty bland and uninspiring and the fight scenes are awkward and laboured considering they should be a major part of the character but it's working OK for me so far. One thing I really like is Finn Jones. He has an almost childlike charm and innocence that works well as a contrast to the brooding M.Murdoch, J.Jones and L.Cage. If the second half of the season is an improvement on the first then yeah, bring it on.

Just back from Get Out. Really, really enjoyed it. Entertaining from start to finish and deserving of all the positive reviews. Spotted quite a few influences in there even though it's a film with it's own identity. One in particular stood out... A few bits here and there were a little off and didn't work but nothing to ruin the enjoyment. In fact, the only scene which really made me groan due to it's daftness was... But apart from that, very good.

After reading the reviews it seems that the movie definitely does have an exact idea of what it is, and what it's trying to achieve. It also sounds as though it achieves this with a huge amount of originality. That in itself, sells it to me. I can't wait.

Really solid psychological drama. Logan Marshall Green playing a similar paranoid and broken character to the one he portrays in Quarry. Can't really say too much as it's definitely a movie which works better if you go in completely dry (K.Williams.gif) Keep an eye out for the very last shot. Kind of took me by surprise in a good way

Haha. Oh my, this game is absolutely bonkers First hour or so I was wondering what the **** I'd bought and then it all suddenly starts to click beautifully into place. I can understand the excellent reviews now. It's very good indeed.
