  1. I definitely have no soul and need to be destroyed then
  2. I watched this last night: It's a decent enough horror movie, very streamlined and stripped back story with pulpy dialogue. The cinematography is excellent for such a low-key production and who doesn't want to see Davos Seaworth as a brooding embodiment of vengeance? Unfortunately as with a lot of horror it loses it's way in the final third, but it's certainly not a bad addition to the genre.
  3. Confidently say that won't happen. I'll also say that it's a film that gets even better with repeat viewing just to take in some of the subtleties of the performances (particularly Considine and Kebbell) I've probably watched it 20+ times As for Young Offenders - that's on my list for the next couple of weeks, it looks great.
  4. Arnie has made some stone cold classics though. Let's hope Dwayne manages to star in something as iconic as The Terminator or Conan in his career
  5. He's an odd one for me. I really, really like the guy. Always comes across well in interviews and is supposed to be great to work with, but after looking at his IMDB page i'm struggling to find any really stand out movies. I enjoyed the remake of Walking Tall, and Welcome to the Jungle was a decent action movie but apart from that he's largely made either forgettable or awful pap. I thought after he was cast in Southland Tales (how the mind behind D.Darko created that abortion I have no idea) that he might choose some more diverse roles but that never materialised.
  6. I adore the Greasy Strangler I've had a couple of nice messages from the writer and from Andrew Hung who did the brilliantly bizarre soundtrack.
  7. He's really, really not. Watch him when he was a kid in Sweet Sixteen or in Alice Creed or Red Road. Very good actor imo. He's a bit one note (perturbed basically) in LoD but he's definitely a talent.
  8. It's like that for the entire series so far and all the better for it
  9. See, you're making me obsessed now: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/food-and-drink/features/whats-the-formula-for-the-perfect-bacon-sandwich/
  10. My work here is complete
  11. See now I'm wondering if you've missed my shit attempt at humour
  12. Got to have butter on a chip sandwich
  13. I do wonder how much of it is regional too. All the time I lived with my mom and dad we never had anything other than brown sauce on a bacon/sausage sandwich, and for the life of me I can never, ever remember going into a cafe / greasy spoon in the Black Country area and being served a bacon sarnie with butter on it. As Ingram says, just a quick dip of the bread in the frying pan and a splash or brown sauce and you're good to go.
  14. Up there with my favourite movies of all time.
  15. Bastard!!! I'm allowed one typo every 15 years or so
  16. Have you actually seen it before? If not, you need to get...on...it...NOW!
  17. Decent enough but I thought it lost it's way in the final third. Tonnes of nods to early Carpenter though, which is never a bad thing.
  18. Isn't it just basic human empathy? **edit** pretty much what TRO said.
  19. Looks like a trailer for a video game adaptation rather than the movie. So many characters and yet so oddly characterless.
