Baby Driver getting excellent reviews. Really pleased as I thought it looked great from the trailer and i'm a big fan of Edgar Wright. I'll be seeing this on Thursday so hopefully it lives up to the hype.

I think he'll be gone before Christmas. I hope I'm wrong because I like him as a man, but after what I saw last season I'm not convinced he'll ever be the man to take us back up.

Yeah, i'll be using the Thrustmaster Hotas (ooer) to play with. I'd imagine they've refined the controls for pads so that they're easily usable, but it wouldn't be Elite without a joystick in my hand

It's amazing isn't it? I remember being blown away when I first watched it a few years ago (I recommended it on here iirc). It reminded me of Bourne combined with Leon. Excellent stuff.

See, as I've already stated, I firmly believe there is absolutely zero after death. What I find incredibly interesting is the flipside. Those people who believe there is/might be for whatever reason. Could be religion, could be personal experiences, but I find it all intriguing.

Not at all mate. It's one of the subjects I find absolutely fascinating and the number of 'I'm not sure' people I come across is quite large.

So, after some interesting thoughts in the Finsbury Park thread, I thought this subject deserved a place of its own. I know there's a religion thread, but religion doesn't enter into this subject for many people. So, what are your thoughts on what happens when we shuffle off this mortal coil? Me? I'm a firm believer that we're a load of lucky apes scrabbling around on a rock and once the body has gone, then that's it. Always thought that 'there is no life after death, only death after life'. Over to you lot.

It's been wonderful. Any initial fears I had have completely evaporated. With AG, Better Call Saul and The Handmaid's Tale there really is some incredible TV about at the moment.

For me, It's not in the same league (emotionally) as something like The Pianist or Son of Sam, but it is a good watch.
