  1. Chinatown is **** brilliant.
  2. When I first played a few years ago (PC) I spent quite a few of the initial hours checking out the marketplace prices and shifting a few items between planets for a little bit of profit. If you can combine this with a couple of the easier shipping / transport missions then all the better. This got me used to controlling the ship and moving from planet to planet without getting me into too much trouble (although I still got into some scrapes with pirates) - and because there is so much freedom, and so very little hand holding, the game really is at it's absolute best when you just mooch about doing a few bits and pieces and learning the ropes. There's plenty of time to turn yourself into a hard core bounty hunter later on
  3. Only certain ports sell the mining laser. Usually worlds with a higher tech rating.
  4. Nelsan Ellis (actor best known for True Blood) gone at 39.
  5. Basically a remake of High Plains Drifter but still a corker.
  6. Give me some Morricone or Schifrin and I'm absolutely sorted re. Movie soundtracks. There's a whole list on the second tier (Carpenter, Mansell, Holmes etc) but those two are the holy duo.
  7. Flawless. I've always loved how much of a great sense of humour those soundtracks have. Utterly brilliant.
  8. I thought series one was the best tbh. By series three I just didn't like/connect with a single character so I sacked it off.
  9. Yeah Every Frame is great. Think it might have been @The_Rev who recommended it to me.
  10. Nah it's one of my faves so I've given myself a slap and a swig of milk
  11. I have it on Blu ray mate. Did I not put that on the list I sent you? I need a slap if I didn't.
  12. I watched that earlier today and that was pretty much my exact reaction...
  13. Well that was terrific fun. Slick, funny and entertaining with Wright reining in some of his usual director 'box of tricks' to the benefit of the overall film. Recommended. Absolutely superb soundtrack too
  14. One of my favourite directors so yeah, as soon as it appeared on Netflix it went on
  15. Very interesting movie from Bong Joon Ho (The Host / Mother / Snowpiercer / Memories of Murder) Great cast, a very eclectic tone and a nicely layered story with some genuinely emotional moments.
  16. Looks pretty good that. Pity Pierce Brosnan is in it though - can't abide him.
  17. I actually thought you might have been referencing her liking of ladies, but that clip is great
  18. I would love it if that wasn't intentional
