  1. You know he's a character Yeah? If so, totally agree.
  2. It's consistently superb. The crossword episode blew me away.
  3. I've worked at quite a few places where the women and the men walk around bare foot in the summer months. Never done it myself tbh but it's never really bothered me.
  4. I think we've discussed this before but I'm totally with you on that. That album is a load of cobblers.
  5. Yeah I can understand that. They certainly weren't for everyone. I had listened to them for a while on the insistence of a friend and initially thought 'what the ****?' Then, one day I was driving around in my old knackered mini and 'British People in Hot Weather' came on a compilation tape he'd (My mate) made for me. And suddenly it all fell into place and I 'got' them. I was a fan after that and remain so to this day.
  6. My GOTY in 2017. After the wretched Syndicate I had very low expectations but it blew me away. Put 100 hours into it by the time I completed it. I absolutely adored every minute.
  7. 1. Bar - HMHB, Wolverhampton Uni Bar somewhere around the early nineties (still got the ticket so will have to double check). Little did I know they would go on to become my favourite band of all time. 2. Nightclub - Stone Roses, JB's Nightclub Dudley around 88/89. Honourable mention to Alice Cooper at the Marquee Club in London (88?) 3. Outdoor - Donnington 1996. Terrific line up at the time and two stages meant no pausing between bands. Korn / Type O Negative / Biohazard / Fear Factory et al were all in cracking form. 4. Arena - Slayer, NEC around 1991 (Decade of Aggression Tour) 5. Stadium - Drawn a blank. Can't remember ever going to one. I've racked up thousands of live bands over the years and there is nothing quite like the experience of a top notch gig. I tend to try to get to at least 2-3 gigs a month these days and long may it continue
  8. Second Divine Beast down. I've spent quite a bit of time on shrines the last week or so and I have to say 99% of them are wonderfully designed and a pleasure to work out. They never seem to frustrate me even if I get stuck for a little while. I've got around 25 hearts and nearly 3 rings of stamina now so it's definitely been worth the effort to track them down. Oh and the weapon degradation becomes much less of an issue as the game goes on. It doesn't bother me half as much now.
  9. Squid and the Whale is Noah Baumbach mate. As for Grand Budapest, it's just wonderful. Visually astonishing and very, very funny (especially Fiennes).
  10. You also need a scale from one for a shrine quest iirc.
  11. "Bullshit! Your name is Private Snake!, do you like that name?"
  12. Bananas are awesome! I get through at least 2 a day, in addition to half a punnet of grapes, a couple of pears and an apple. Fruit is ace.
  13. I've still only done one Divine Beast as I've been concentrating on exploration and finding a shit load of shrines for the upgrades. I've lost count of the amount of superb little moments and lovely touches there have been during my playthrough so far. It's a game that 99% of the time puts a smile on my face. I certainly won't be rushing to get it finished. I can see me putting 100-150 hours into it easily.
  14. I watched the first episode, counted all the cliches and marvelled at the awful acting and then decided it wasn't for me.
  15. I met her once years ago. Really lovely lady
  16. Yes. Even though it's early January I can't imagine watching many better films this year.
  17. Breath of the Wild > Windwaker > OoT Not played any of the others so that's my too three. To Be fair there's only a fag paper between all three.
  18. One of the things that appeals to me most is that is has a very defined, very unique sense of place. There's not many games that really nail that feeling for me. I think Dark Souls was probably the last one.
