Yes they have always had a great flair for the theatrical (and the tongue is for the most part very much in the cheek) but to accompany all the visuals they also deliver some absolutely wonderful music. Such a great mixture of Hammer Horror lyrics and accessible, melodic tunes.
I still find it amusing how many fans have moaned when 'Papa' has been changed down the years when it's always been Tobias
I kinda like Tobias's new look. I think 'Papa' had kinda run his course after the first three albums.
Like you, I'm bloody excited for the new album though. They've been one of my favourite bands since the first album landed and I can't wait to see them live yet again as they'e been superb every time so far.
I barely made it to the end of series 1. Thought it was a load of cobblers with some utterly atrocious acting (Patinkin aside).
Although my dislike of Damien Lewis probably didn't help.
Should have sold him for 5m when we had the chance.
*Yes, I'm aware of his inconsistency but he's still the most naturally gifted player we've had at VP for a long time.
Thinking of starting a second playthrough at some point as I'm sure there was still plenty of stuff I missed on my first 200+ hours.
Absolutely magnificent game.
Genuinely don't remember in 20 years of marriage asking for 'permission' to go out anywhere. Likewise I wouldn't expect my wife to need to ask me either.
We always let each other know what we're doing of course, but having to actually ask? Absolutely no no for me.
Probably why she never annoys me
Yeah it's a sad one that. Responsible for one of the greatest animated movies of all time in Grave of the Fireflies and a huge reason behind Studio Ghiblis success.
This is the key for me.
I'm not sure how I'd react in that situation (I've had huge anger issues in the past so probably not too level headedly) however, even though this guy did what many people think is the right thing in defending his property etc he will still have to live with killing someone. I wouldn't wish that on anyone in that situation.
Ah gotcha. I was quite surprised tbh.
In musical terms, he's a giant as far as innovators and inspiration go.
Funnily enough I got into him because of 80s/90s hip hop. I was really into sampling and looping at the time and his name unsurprisingly cropped up in many a conversation before I tracked down some Parliament and Funkadelic.
