Just cooking myself a monstrous bacon sarnie, then the wife and I are off for a nice long walk to the nature reserve, before popping in to the boozer for a couple of pints. Then ambling back to chill out in the garden for the rest of the afternoon.
Ace.
From the few reviews I've read so far it seems Luke Cage s2 is an improvement on 1.
Fwiw I thought Jessica Jones s2 was fine btw. It missed Kilgrave but I liked the more character driven approach to the second series (and I really really like the JJ character).
The Tale.
Fantastic movie and definitely up there with my films of the year. It tackles a very grim subject matter in an extremely effective way and features a top notch cast including a brilliant performance from Laura Dern.
Recommended.
Yes it's superb. I thought they did a terrific job of rebuilding the game from the ground up but retaining the atmosphere of the original version (although I am quite a big fan of the series so my view may be a little clouded).
Adored the R1 remake (No tank controls yay!) So will definitely be picking this up on release.
I bought 7 recently and it genuinely unnerves me to the point I've only played about an hour so far ?
It's a direct sequel to the first movie.
They are ignoring the other 100,000 films and picking up many years after the original (they have also abandoned the idea that she's his sister).
I'm ok with them doing all that although I've always thought Halloween 2 was a very decent sequel.
If any of you haven't seen them (Ghost) live, then I can highly recommend it as they are always excellent and Tobias is a great front man. I'm kinda glad I've seen them a fair few times over the years (been into them since the first album) as I reckon it won't be long until they outgrow the smaller venues and start playing the more soulless stadiums. Their rise has been pretty meteoric and looks set to continue.
I like and respect him much more than I did before he became our manager and I'll be eternally grateful for playing his part in turning the ship around.
But I still think it's now the perfect time to give him a painting of a Spitfire and let him go.
My wife has been a vegetarian her entire adult life. When we had our two daughters she always gave them a balanced diet (including plenty of meat) and never once imposed her own views on them.
They both ended up vegetarian anyway and they came to their own conclusions in a natural way without any coercion.
As for me, I continue to fly the blood spattered carnivore flag in the house alone ?
