Yeah I wouldn't go so far as 'absolutely terrible' but it's definitely the weakest season with some truly boring and pointless episodes. s2 is an increase in quality and apart from the odd misstep s3 and s4 are truly terrific.

I really like Gotham. Season 3 and 4 have been particularly fantastic and the shows portrayal of many of DCs iconic characters has been excellent. Having said all that...well that looks a bit shit ?

I'm on ep 7 of Daredevil s3 and it's rather excellent. I think they've done a terrific job of writing a contemporary Bullseye.

For those revenge horror fans who like their movies a little more erm...out there and surreal then this is pretty much bloody, psychedelic perfection with a cracking off the wall performance from Cage (bang on for this movie to be fair). Loved it.

Day off today so i'm going through some of my top albums of all time. This is still as incredible as the first time I heard it in '96.

I only risked 4 x normal 75gsm paper. With the more glossy 120-150gsm paper I only risked 2. It took me 4 hours in all.

I've built up a huge collection of letters/paperwork that are in need of shredding. So I'm going to shred them in a bit. Using my new shredder.

Oddly enough a mate and I were talking about that movie (and that scene) just last night. It's always been a favourite of mine. I've often described it as a stripped down, urban version of Rio Bravo. It's quite an unsettling film in many ways. That soundtrack too? Absolute minimalist electronic genius from Carpenter. Such an effective use of a slightly varying repetitive hook. The remake was much better than I expected too, although as usual doesn't hold a candle to the Carpenter original.

For the first time in...well a long while I really wish I was going to VP today. I think the atmosphere will be utterly incredible.

Terrific movie. I'm a big fan of Martin McCann after seeing him in The Survivalist. Very talented actor and a very good film.

A.C. Odyssey. If not for RDR 2 coming out in a few weeks i would say this would be nailed on for my GOTY. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Yeah this is good so far. Really like the little nods to the Robert Wise movie (1963). Particularly the homage to the scene with the banging walls which has always been a favourite of mine.

High on Fire tonight in Brum (no it's not a tribute to Richard Pryor). The last time I saw them was the loudest gig I've ever been to so I'm looking forward to having buzzing ears for the weekend Always great to see the legend that is Matt Pike. Any man that has a Facebook page dedicated to his gut is ok by me.

She is. She's also great in AHS Hotel. I'm not a massive fan of her music but she's obviously a talented woman.

By rights I should have loved this game. - character I like - open world - lots of collectibles - decent story - very high production values And yet, it just didn't click with me at all and i traded it in less than a week later (for the utterly brilliant AC Odyssey) Maybe I'll pick it up cheap next year and find I missed out but for now it's one I chalk up as disappointing.
