All the main characters die and Hot Pie moves north of the wall to set up a successful chain of restaurants selling his famous Kidney Pie (the good bottom round steak is the key) to a legion of white walkers. Fin.

Yeah first thing I did was download the proper kits etc. It's great fun to be fair. Master League is still my favourite mode after all these years.

I've heard a lot about Moffat recently. Sounds a very decent chap and has done some great work. The No Outsiders program seems like an excellent idea to me.

Finished Russian Doll the other night. Thought it was terrific and for once the finale was especially strong. Also watching The Kominski Method which is very good. I could watch Alan Arkin read a phone book and it would still raise a smile - absolute curmudgeonly perfection

Excellent take on a fascinating true story. McCarthy deserves all the plaudits for a fantastic performance (this is very much her Punch Drunk Love) and Richard E.Grant is on top form too. Recommended

Nothing unusual for me really. My main one is (unsurprisingly) the collection and viewing of movies - currently the total is past the 3,000 mark. I read a stupid amount of irrelevant movie info too, but I find it oddly interesting. Video gaming is another big one, I’ve been a gamer for 40 years but I think I enjoy it even more these days. Then there’s music, which I listen to 90% of my working day and have a routine where I listen to a minimum of 3 new albums a week (managed to keep that one up for a few years now) and also go to plenty of gigs each year because let’s face it, there’s not much better than live music, good company and good beer. I used to write short stories (a shit H.P.Lovecraft basically) but that’s fallen by the wayside the last couple of years, although on the plus side I have recently rediscovered my love of illustration so the pens and pencils have been back out and that’s something I intend to do more of.

Finished Far Cry New Dawn so I've moved onto Subnautica after seeing my nephew playing it a few weeks ago. First impressions are it's a solid enough exploration/crafting game with a hint of survival horror. Plus the underwater setting is something that appeals to me. Also picked up the new Pro Evo on sale for £8.99. Haven't played a footy game since the last Pro Evo on PS2 so I'm a little rusty to say the least.

Needless to say I completely disagree. I've watched it three times now and it's utterly brilliant from start to finish. The writing and in particular Coogans performance are just top notch.

Apart from the lacklustre opening track this is rather splendid

He was good in Shattered Glass tbf, but yeah apart from that he looks like he wouldn't be out of place in Ikea with 20 percent off.

The black and white thinking in On Topic. It shouldn't piss me off because after being on here for 15 years you'd think I'd be used to it, but the lack of any nuanced thinking just grates on me from time to time. It'll never change.

@Pelle here's a question for you mate regarding the Fred flick. It's not bad movie (a bit too fluffy for a bio for me but that's another discussion) but...did you think that Malek actually sounded (as in when speaking) like Freddie? I've watched a fair few interviews with FM and I thought Malek was way off. In fact he sounded more like George from Rainbow which was a little off putting
