Missandei was dead as soon as her and Grey Worm touched hands. 'It is known' indeed
I thought it was the best episode so far (although flawed as usual) and Daeny losing the second dragon was quite an unexpected shock and a reminder of what I loved about the series in the first place.
New Shane Meadow's four part drama The Virtues starts on Wednesday May 15th at 9pm.
Looks great, and I expect another acting masterclass from Stephen Graham.
I've just watched Matthew Holness's utterly superb Possum.
...I may not sleep well tonight.
Seriously, what a beautifully dark and disturbing piece of work.
I get the feeling this one will stay with me for days.
Well that was **** epic.
Loved it all apart from the bloody brightness levels during parts of the battle sequence. Such wonderful cinematography and choreography shouldn't be shrouded in a cloud of darkness.
It's my birthday today and I've woken up to some seriously cool presents from my two daughter's. Got today and tomorrow off so the wife is taking me out in a bit to get me a few bits and pieces from her, then we're all off to the pub for lunch, followed by a few glasses of wine this afternoon and then this week's GOT (with presumably more wine) to round it all off.
Lovely
Something else that's been exaggerated is the micro management of the bike. I've played for 4 or 5 hours and have had to find fuel once, and that took all of 5 minutes. There's plenty of scrap to repair the bike so that's never an issue either.
The biggest comparison I can think of is the Mad Max game which I loved.
First few hours of Days Gone are pretty much what I expected. It's a cookie cutter sandbox with high production values. Nothing new but I'm enjoying it all the same.
