From a quick look on some of the FB movie pages I follow, I think the main problem he'll have is certain people not being able to see past his Twilight movies which is incredibly unfair as he's done some really solid work since around 2012 (Cosmopolis, The Rover, Maps to the Stars and Life to name but a few), and has grown into a very watchable and versatile actor. If he's given a decent script, I think he'll absolutely smash it.

Pattinson cast as the new Batman Great choice imo. He's an incredibly talented actor (when he's not 'sparkling') and I think he'll do the whole 'dark and brooding' thing very well indeed.

Because after he was (almost) killed by Oberyn, Qyburn turned him into a practically indestructible killing machine (Qyburn being a master of dark practices, think of him as GOT's Frankenstein). For all intents and purposes, he's a big bastard zombie. Hence why he's even harder to kill. And re. The Night King, as I've already said. He had a huge weakness that was exploited.

The Mountain is kind of an undead zombie impervious to pain, with no real specific weakness. The Night King on the other hand had a glaring weakness that was exploited.

Season 1-3 will always be the peak of GOT quality. Some terrific, intelligent TV right there.

The only death that I thought 'Yeah that's GOT' was Qyburn's. That's how I imagined Martin would have written it.

It was all 'spectacle' (again) but just so bloody rushed. I'm actually annoyed now at the decision to go with 6 episodes. They could have doubled that and then, I dunno maybe had a think about the characters that they'd built up for the past seven seasons? Just an idea like.
