Yeah I'll be all over that by virtue of the games alone.
I still prefer grizzled older Geralt though. Give me the Witcher equivalent of Logan and I'd be in heaven.
No worries. Yeah it's on the eShop - Just bought it myself, it (The Switch version) has universally positive reviews and it's a game series I've always enjoyed so it's a no brainer at that price.
I think it should translate to the handheld quite nicely too.
Civ 6 is on sale for 30 quid at the moment. I didn't pick it up at launch as I had a load of other games to play but at that price it's incredibly tempting.
(And might just get me back on my Switch)
Recently re-read the books again, so yeah I'm the same.
If they don't dilute the source too much (basically don't pander to the religious types and rip out the heart of the books) then it could be absolutely brilliant.
Yeah comedy is ridiculously subjective.
Again, not a titter for me at all through two episodes of Derry Girls but pretty much consistently through WWDITS.
If it makes you laugh, then it's done it's job.
Just remember, there are people out there that like Mrs Brown's Boys.
Don't have a problem with it if it's for an event / special occasion etc.
If you're popping down Lidl in full gear though, it's time to have a word with yourself.
After reading a few positive reviews we gave Derry Girls a go last night.
Christ it's bad. I mean, really, really bad. Awful 'forced' comedy with cliche ridden, unlikable characters with zero depth and not a shred of actual comedy in sight.
It made Raised by Wolves look like Fawlty Towers. Terrible.
Nah Dem, his mates in the media would just spin the 'disgraceful way to treat a man with such class and integrity' and he'd be back in a job before he could shout "4 kebabs please mate".
