  1. If there's one **** phrase that really **** me off in regard to Brexit it's 'Just get on with it...'
  2. I like the edit *Can't remember if I'm honest, but it's great.
  3. Yep, absolutely agree with you both. I've thought for a while now that @Chindieshould have a crack at writing professionally.
  4. Definitely. It's still the main site I visit day after day. I will be a very sad bugger the day it no longer exists.
  5. No it really doesn't. I'm very, very similar in that it's my main vice (apart from movies) and for nearly 40 years it's the one pastime/hobby that I've never ever got tired of due to it's constantly developing nature. I probably spend around 10-12 hours a week on games these days and exactly like you I would never let it get in the way of a night out/family outing. I think the world has now (thankfully) got over the idea of video gaming being strictly for kids and spotty teens in their bedrooms. If anyone still thinks that way...well they're very, very wrong.
  6. She'll never leave Fred and we know it.
  7. Been doing that myself. Just this minute finished season 3. I was worried that it might have aged but **** me it's even better the second time around. Absolutely peerless imo.
  8. Like a cross between Gang Green and 'Kill 'em All' era Metallica. High energy, scuzzy pop punk.
  9. Had this on the last day or so - been listening to their singles etc the last few weeks and they're definitely an interesting band. The track with Bobby Gillespie is excellent. Might go and see them supporting Black Peaks in October. Should be a good show.
  10. What a wonderful film They (Ghibli) have pretty much a perfect record with me and I think I've seen nearly all of them. Grave of the Fireflies gets me in the feels every single time but I think Totoro and When Marnie Was There would probably be my favourites.
  11. Watched this again tonight. Powell and Pressburger at their absolute best. One of my favourite films of all time.
  12. I actually thought she was great in that Valerian film probably because it was as gorgeous to look at and bonkers as she is though
  13. Its had lots and lots of extra work and huge updates mate. It's practically unrecognisable to the mess that was launched. Fair play to them for trying to correct the massive cluster **** of the early game but I suspect the damage has already been done for many people. Shame really as its absolutely terrific now
  14. Mostly No Man's Sky, Vampyr and Slime Rancher (nice relaxing fun that one). I'd imagine the PS4 remake of Ni No Kuni will occupy most of my gaming time as of next month.
  15. Yep. In fact one of the reasons it took me so long to get around to watching it was his nightmarish visage. Genuinely makes my skin crawl.
  16. Poor woman* *think I might have mentioned this before, but that **** is like TV/Movie Kryptonite to me. I despise everything about him and his face makes me nauseous. Completely irrational but there you go.
  17. Beer and a (highly recommended) Jam tribute band tonight. Then, if the weather stays this way I shall mostly be spending the BH weekend in the garden listening to tunes and drinking more beer and wine. Lovely.
  18. Yeah AR have been around for years (I saw them supporting Exodus about 25 years ago!) and they're very much in the old school thrash mould that we both love. Nice coincidence them and the Reich releasing some new material after a long hiatus.
  19. Just a feeling New Acid Reign single is a corker too (if you haven't heard it).
  20. One thing we'll probably never know is how much of the bullying was done under the guise of 'coaching' and how much was straight forward victimisation outside of that remit. My money would be on a combination of the two. Either way, the results are awful and unforgivable, but I think it's important that we make the distinction between the two. ^^Absolutely.
