Finally got around to watching it yesterday. It's absolutely superb! Amazing how much tension you can wring out of such a simple situation (a guy answering emergency calls basically) when the writing is so good.
It's on Netflix for anyone who fancies giving it a go. I'd highly recommend it
Top watch that one - It really affected me when I watched it a few years ago. The things that happen in the peripheral view are way more disturbing than anything explicit.
Really top notch horror.
Well rounded, interesting characters and a storyline that creates a good sense of impending, unsettling doom whilst never going too OTT.
Takes a few of it's beats from movies like The Amityville Horror but retains it own identity.
Recommended for the VT horror fans.
First two episodes of The Outsider were excellent.
Really intriguing storyline, high production values and a brilliant ensemble cast. I’ve been saying it for years, but Ben Mendelsohn is an absolute acting force of nature - a truly outstanding talent.
Looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.
Alongside The Last of Us, I find The Uncharted series the most bafflingly overrated games of all time.
Couldn't get into a single one (and I've tried them all).
I know they are very positively reviewed but definitely a case of 'Things You Don't Get' in my experience.
