  1. Picked up the digital copy this morning. Looking forward to having a tinker around with some of the creative features over the weekend and taking a look at some of the user created content.
  2. For thus it was is now and shall be evermore.
  3. Nah I get that he's not for everyone. His visual and storytelling style is so unique that I'd imagine quite a few people not getting on with it. He's never done a minute of film I haven't loved tbh.
  4. That's only for a few episodes in the first season. It becomes it's own animal from s2 onwards.
  5. I'm kind of annoyed with myself that it's taken me this long to watch a couple of American comedies, namely The Office and Parks and Recs. They are both absolutely superb and Ron Swanson has quickly become one of my favourite comedy characters of all time. Oh, and The Outsider is by far the best thing on TV at the moment.
  6. Yep this. I've said it a million times but there's a ridiculous amount of new and exciting music coming out every week. For nearly ten years now I've had a weekly ritual where I listen to a minimum of 3 new albums (usually bands I've never heard before and it's usually more than 3) and that coupled with word of mouth from mates, reading the relevant music sites/social media etc and even something as simple as using Spotify's 'Discover Weekly' (which is bloody great tbh) should mean there's never a shortage.

  8. Well deserved Best Picture Oscar for Parasite
  9. I was thinking more drug related tbh.
  10. Ooooooooo - Let me know how they are (I love a bit of Snapped Ankles me)
  11. It was a pretty decent attempt to get over the absolute mayhem (lol) of that particular period, but it really didn't flesh out the main characters on the NBM scene enough and they ended up more like caricatures. The book is much, much better.
  12. I'm off to see them again in Nottingham this year. They always put on a good (and bloody loud) show.
  13. Yep, showing Lennon as the woman beating hypocrite that he was may raise a few eyebrows.
  14. Interested in the Bowie one as it's the very talented Johnny Flynn playing him.
  15. You punch well above your weight Roberto, she's a lovely lady
  16. The Handsome Family - Unseen Been into these since they did the music for the opening credits on S1 of True Detective, and this is another lovely slice of Alternative Country. Great stuff.
  17. That's me watching Mr.Jolly Lives Next Door later then. R.I.P.
