Totally opposite for me.
I've had launch consoles for PS1/PS2/PS3/PS4 (still all working too) and I think this is easily the most excited I've been about one.
Admittedly, the Demon Souls remake is a HUGE factor but just in general I'm really, really hyped.
To be honest, it's kinda nice to have something to look forward to after such a sodbag of a year with COVID etc.
Very much this.
I've heard quite a few interviews where he's mentioned that people sometime take his persona on stage to be the real him, rather than a more 'turned up to 11' exaggeration.
@dubbs
If I could give you one starting tip it would be about where to put your early stat points.
As a general rule of thumb, if you are going for a Strength build then prioritise STR and DEX (until you can use your chosen weapon) and then put a fair amount into ADAPTABILITY. Then spread points between STR/DEX/END/VIG
If you are going for a Magic build then prioritise INT and ATN and then put a fair amount into ADAPTABILITY. Then spread points between INT/ATN/END/VIG
Do not ignore ADAPTABILITY as it = I(invincibility) frames when rolling/dodging. Stick some points in it until your Agility hits 100 at which point you can leave it.
I would also recommend getting a basic bow asap as I cannot overstate their usefulness in Souls games.
Although considered by many in the Soulsborne community to be the 'Red Headed Stepchild' of the series, it's still a **** belter of a game.
It has the best PvP and easily the best variety of builds/weapons in the series. It's also the only Soulsborne game to have a limit on respawning enemies. It was a huge point of discussion/arguments when the game came out, but I came to appreciate it during some of the more difficult boss runs.
The DLC is brilliant too (even better than the main game imo).
Let me know if you need any pointers.
Finished up with Ashen (superb) and have moved onto Remnant from the Ashes (very good and very difficult) and also Genshin Impact, which is a rather good BOTW clone on PS4. Remarkably enough, it's free to play and puts many AAA titles to shame.
I bloody love Les Claypool, but some of his work can be a little patchy and inconsistent.
This however is excellent stuff and let's face It we always knew Sean was better than his dad
Just subbed.
I don't follow or sub to any footy Podcasts, but I'm really looking forward to hearing this one as 1) it's Villa related and 2) There's people I 'know' involved
Best of luck with it
