  1. Have to say...that looks pretty bloody great.
  2. Think I might give the Plat a go because I'm enjoying it so much.
  3. Yeah I've got that. Seem to remember buying it for the Weddoes cover version.
  4. I got to Hades yesterday after 30ish runs. Got him down to about 30% before dying. If the RNG God's are a bit kinder today I think I might do it (although from what I've read, the first escape is only scratching the surface of the game)
  5. Just watched his introduction. Now THAT was a pop!
  6. Yeah I'd go with that (although I do love the Stathe) he's definitely got presence and charisma but it's hard to imagine him pushing himself in a more dramatic role.
  7. I don't think he's that great an actor tbh (The Wire aside). He seems very one note.
  8. £120 to see the modern day Status Quo? Nah mate.
  9. I had a similar set from one of my kids last Father's Day (few less bottles) - there's some excellent palate heaters there
  10. Loved her in this: She was good as the psychotic Nix in Guns Akimbo too. Certainly doesn't look much like her uncle...
  11. It is isn't it? At its heart, it's a love story but to call it that would be doing it a massive injustice. Such a superb film.
  12. I enjoyed that one. The direction it took (lol) was quite a surprise and the last scene (during credits) is great
  13. Quick heads up for those who own the excellent Mortal Shell on PS4 (or PS5), the new expansion The Virtuos Cycle is free if downloaded between 18th - 23rd of August. Also, if you own a PS5 (and Mortal Shell) and haven't played the free enhanced version then I urge you to give it a look - it looks stunning in 60fps and 4k and I recently completed it again just to see it in all it's glory.
  14. Opposite for me thankfully. I'd say the last ferocious one I had was about 25 years ago. Similar to @bicksterI can drink a fair old whack in one night and just be slightly off the pace for the first few hours of the next day.
  15. Hades - it definitely lives up to the hype as it's **** amazing.
  16. Really pleased with that.
  17. In fact, after having a read up about it, it sounds absolutely superb. May well give it a go as its only 20 quid.
  18. It's roguelite, not roguelike so nowhere near as frustrating. You get to keep certain items if you die, and you level up your character to get better and make levels easier.
  19. Yeah but no one can see those posts... (Sorry)
  20. Lightning suffers from having two bad tracks in a row with Eascape and Trapped Under Ice (both stinkers imo). Creeping Death and For whom the Bell Tolls are top drawer Tallica though.
  21. Puppets is Metallica's masterpiece imo. The rhythm work is absolutely incredible on some tracks. All downhill after that album sadly and I dont think it's any coincidence its when they lost Cliff.
  22. Did a double bill the other night and luckily really enjoyed both movies. They're very different films, but both excellent and I'd recommend either of them. And
  23. I'm looking forward to seeing what Duncan Jones can do with Rogue Trooper. So much potential.
