    I love the man. Best Villa manager I have experienced so far and most likely one of the best I will ever experience. He oozes pure class and footballing know-how. Our Genius.

    Felt like crap mentally over the past few weeks, that has cheered me right up. Celebrating has never felt so good. We showed Arsenal what they are missing. We have a world class manager and a group of players I believe in. I believe more and more that this will be a season I'll remember for the rest of my life with each passing match. UTFV. Cherishing moments like this.

    All depends on whether Emery prioritises Arsenal or Lille. To be honest I'd rather the latter, I do think we can get a draw if we are on top of our game and have the right lineup though. Easier said than done of course, they have become a very good side under Arteta.

    Newcastle have done us a massive favour today, am I right in thinking we will be OK until the next round of games even if Arsenal win tomorrow? Think we can nick a draw if we're at our best though.

    I have heard a lot of talk that this is all about working towards a new stadium- that seems to be the case on here as well. Do we know any details about said stadium yet or is it all speculation at the moment?

    Keeping my hopes high... We can do it. I really think we can win this competition. All to play for in the second leg now.

    Not sure I will ever get a season ticket- I'll be happy to go to a match whenever the opportunity comes up!

    Going to be very nervy then. I think Spurs will just beat us to 4th, sadly. Though I do think 5th will get CL? Admittedly I am not sure how that whole thing works!

    Absolutely right. No matter what happens now, this is one of the best seasons we have had in years. It's certainly the best season I've had in my time as a supporter so far. The media has been so quiet on it, but to do what we have done with the injuries we have had? Remarkable. This manager and this group of players make me belive that we can and will re-establish ourselves as one of football's big boys. I will be forever grateful to everyone involved with this season because I have felt such a strong sense of pride and connection to our club this year. It's been a great feeling knowing that, no matter what kind of week I'm having, there's always a solid chance that the team will play well and get a result.

    If we win this one I will really start getting excited. The mere chance of seeing my club seriously competing for a European trophy in my lifetime is mind-blowing. Even though it is the "third rate" European Cup, winning this would be like '82 for me. Something I'd be telling the grandkids about one day. I believe we can do it. Such an important end to the season coming up for us, UTV!

    Lived in London before moving, I'd be open with meeting some supporters whenever I'm visitng family. I'll try and get to that bar!

    I think we will look back on this as a thrilling and competitive season. Never nice to be dealing with in the moment but I do hope we will remember this one fondly!

    Perspectives and opinions will naturally change over the course of a season, for better or worse. I would love nothing more than for us to get into the Champions League. All of us would. But if we did find ourselves in the Europa League, I would be very happy. That is the competition which our manager excels in. Said it before but I do think we will win the Conference League as well. I am looking for the good in whatever situation we end up in because Villa is one of the few positives in my life at the moment!

    Trusting in Unai and the players and that is all I can do. Whether we get top 4 or not we have had a great season.

    Always a great feeling when you go into a game with an air of confidence and the team backs you up. Fantastic. UTV.

    Agreed, always happens in that kind of scenario. Do think we'd put up a good fight in the UCL, though, and I think we will have a good go at domestic cups next season.

    Should be a win with all their injuries as others have said, surely? Also, how far in the competition does everyone think we'd go next season?

    Bit out of the loop with the badge thing right now, does anyone know if the one with the very detailed lion meant to be on a kit is/could be real? Saw it via Footyheadlines and liked it.

    Best manager I have ever seen at our club since I started following 5/6 years ago. He is doing great things and I hope he will continue to do so. I also hope that he turns out to be one of the best managers we ever have. I genuinely believe that we will win a few trophies during his era. I'm not jumping the gun and saying that I am expecting it right now, or that we will win the title with Unai etc, but I do think we can go on to grab some domestic cups under him. As a Villa supporter I have learned to manage unrealistic expectations! I think we will win the Conference League this year, though. I do have a sinking feeling that he is/will be a bit of a "shooting star" for us, a blink and you'll miss it type thing.
