This lad chose to join us because he believes in the project and because he knows we are a big club who are going places, with a top manager to boot... Exactly the type of player we want at this club.

Thought about this all morning... I'm basically 100% for it now. Bring him in, let Unai & his staff work their magic and watch him shine. He'll pick up the ethos and work ethic soon enough. Sometimes I forget that we have a manager who is world class and can get the best out of any player. If he comes, we will all be behind him and I'm sure he will show why he deserves it. Optimism is good for me!

Adeyemi yes please... So fast, so much room to learn and grow under Unai who would turn this kid into a beast.

Guy is fantastic at his job... I'm sure he's cooking up some deals on the down low that'll be a huge difference for us.

Hadn't heard of that Northern Irish(?) guy before these clips but he seems to know his stuff so I will give his content a go! I think he got the whole thing bang on really. Arteta has been there what 5 years now and not done anything? They gave him all the time in the world, let him finish 8th twice and spend hundreds of millions. But they showed an experienced and winning manager the door after not getting him his targets??? Anyway nevermind Arsenal or any other club... All that matters is Villa, I am very tribal and "isolationist" when it comes to football. Their loss is our gain, we are in for another fantastic season and I think silverware is on for the first time in my life. First time in a whole generation I think as well? If we can dream it, our Unai can make it a reality.

Unai schooled Pep, Arteta and the rest last season... Loved seeing him get revenge against Arsenal, they ridiculed and mocked a world class manager. Bullied him out of a job and then actively hoped he'd fail with us. Thanks for the manager, we love him! King Unai.

Great to read this after I have had so much abuse on social media for saying that Emery is far better than Postecoglou. Ange is a good manager but Unai is world class, levels above, and I'm afraid it is just factual. I don't really FEAR anyone for 24/25, it's just about who's going to be the biggest annoyances. We have a vision and I'd love to believe that we cannot be stopped. I know I shouldn't get carried away when it comes to Villa but the way the club is being run at the moment just forces me to believe.

Shame, no ambition in that decision. People on my Instagram saying "loyalty doesn't feed your family" as if he wasn't earning a fortune with us!

It will be so hard to replace one of the traditional top 4, but if anyone can do it our Unai can. Spurs' place is there for the taking. We did it last season so let's keep doing it. I think we will win a domestic cup this season, everyone in power at the club will want to end the trophy drought and I bet the players are itching for it too. You reckon we'll win anything in 24/25 (other than the UCL)?

And he's not done yet mate! We still have so much more to do with this man, I firmly believe we will win the league at some point under Emery which feels nuts to say.

I was worried and reluctant at first, so I agree with all of your concerns. But, after thinking some more, I trust Unai, if he sees something in Felix then I believe that he can bring it out of the lad. Let's just hope that if he comes here, he comes here hungry and ready to learn. If he puts in a shift and lets the manager help him turn his career around, he can be a hero for this club. Let's just hope!

Had a bit of a bad day and this has hit me so hard in the best way possible, I am a bit teary eyed to be honest! That quote is beautiful. That is what he wants for us. I don't even know what to say but my immediate thought is that I want to get a poster of him done with that quote on it... Wow. I really hope that when the day comes for him to leave, he leaves as our greatest ever manager. I cannot think of a club and manager more suited to each other. Let's make some masterpieces and lifelong memories, Unai!

With the way sales are apparently going I was lucky to get mine when I did! Can't wait for it to arrive, straight down the local with my chest out. Even happier considering I managed to get the UCL patch put on with my order. I've seen some resellers asking for the world and more already, hate what they're doing.

Gerrard to Unai is like bumping into the eventual love of your life on your way out of the divorce court!

He's made me remember why I love football in the first place, he's put the romance back into the game. Before him we were so disrespected, used as a learning experience for "managers" like Gerrard and an easy payday for Alf Garnett word like Richards and "the other one". Unai has restored our status as a giant of the game and he will keep us there. He saw what we were and is combining it with what he wants us to be, and it is beautiful to watch.

It is thanks to our Boss that I have decided to get my FA Coaching badges. He has made that much of an impact on my life, I hope to meet him one day to shake his hand and thank him.

Every football fan deserves to have a manager at least once in their life who completely changes how they look at the game. I am very lucky to say that for me it has been Unai. We haven't seen the best of him yet, I hope that he is here for the rest of his career and I hope he wins every trophy going.

He has openly insulted us as a club and fanbase with his remarks. We are playing in the most prestigious club competition in the world, if he thinks West Ham are an upgrade I have news for the lad... Let's get some players in who will appreciate the chance to play for the Villa.

Not a new or exciting take from me at all here, very neutral and boring, but... I don't want especially him. From what I saw he was crap at Chelsea. Unai could probably get a tune out of the lad and I'd wish him well of course but I hope we look for other options.

Real shame this, would have liked to see what he can do in the UCL but if a player doesn't have his mind set on Villa 100% then he can leave.

Yeah, I 100% believe this lad will rip it up for his. Unai backs him, so do we. Our Genius sees things nobody else does in football.

Can't describe the feeling I got ordering the new Villa top with the bloody UCL sleeve patch! Did not feel real.
