    Yeah Burn probably should have had a chance considering the lack of left backs. Pope should definitely be 1 of the 3 keepers. I actually rate Gordon and on form would have him in over a few. Also Longstaff could be worth a look? Not a great player but at least he's playing competitive football unlike Henderson and Phillips.

    Was a good player for 4 seasons, a very mediocre one for 5 and then his in his final 3 seasons he scored 3 goals. He seemed to have attitude and fitness problems in the 2nd half of his career, backed up by what he's said about some of the managers he played under (like Garde) where it doesn't reflect very well on him. Not to forget being pictured out partying the night the club got relegated. I don't hate him but I definitely have mixed feelings towards him and think we could have far better representatives of the club. So when it comes to things like being our PL top scorer if somebody like Ollie could overtake him soon that would be great.

    Great news. I suspect he, along with the likes of Konsa, Mings and McGinn will finish their PL careers here now.

    It was a great attempt for the overhead kick but unfortunately it went pretty much down the middle of the goal. I think it would have been poor keeping had it gone in. Slightly surprised he got MoTM as I thought he had a quiet game.

    In theory Dendoncker should be a capable ball winner but one of the problems with him and Tielemans on the pitch seems to be the lack of athleticism. So I'd say it's vital the next DM/CM addition is a good athlete first and foremost. I haven't given up on Tielemans yet because he has pedigree and is undoubtedly a good footballer. I'm just not sure he suits being in a midfield 2 for us.

    Big fan of this. I've always thought this is the way the winter transfer update should have worked with players arriving in January rather than being there at the start of the season.
