Yeah true but him not starting did seem a bit like he wasn't ready.

Worth remembering we have recalled Kesler-Hayden to add depth at RB and also have Ned arriving in 6 months. It's been a good window if we get these deals over the line although I would have liked to see another midfielder come in to cover for Kamara but hopefully Tim can step up.

I thought he was onside too, could easily have been 2-1 The amount of times someone is 5 yards off and they let it play out. Of course we get the lino who puts his flag up early.

To summarise my thoughts: We are in a bit of a slump but we will turn it around (hopefully soon) We are still in a good position to get CL football. We may only need mid table form to even get CL football if 5th is in play.

Does seem that we have been on the lookout for a young keeper who already has some experience. Wonder if Olsen is leaving or we're going with 3 senior keepers.

Yep things can change quickly. Sheff Utd up next is a big opportunity to try and get back on track. It's worth remembering that we've had times even under Unai things haven't looked great like the start to 2023 losing to Stevenage and a struggling Leicester. Then we went on an incredible run.

We don't even have to be amazing to finish 5th. Probably 20 odd points or so from the next 16 matches. Will be criminal if we finish any lower after such a good opportunity.

We can still finish 4th but we need to find our form fast. How we respond next game is crucial. If we don't beat Sheff Utd this season we don't deserve top 4.
