I think it's because Pau is better on the ball and the full back will be expected to pass between the lines more.
Also Mings at CB is crucial for his presence.
So according to Nixon (pinch of salt required) the buy back would be one we could just trigger rather than having to convince Aaron to come back. I think I'm okay with it if that's the case.
I reckon these are the players almost certain to start first match. Then it's between Digne or Torres at LB, Kamara or Tielemans in midfield and probably Buendia on the left?
I wonder if the buy back will be a fee agreed where we'd get to negotiate with him (usually the case) or a deal already agreed that we can trigger (unlikely but has happened with a few deals)
whoscored has Adams with 82.4% pass completion for Leeds last season and 90.2% for USA at the World Cup, so certainly not bad statistically. From his fbref stats it looks like his short and medium range passing is fine but it's when he attempts long range passes the completion drops significantly.
Looks like Inter only bought him this summer after having him on loan last season (probably one of those loan to buy deals)
Seems he really hasn't played many minutes for a 21 year old. Football Manager seems to think he has quite a bit of potential though
Just checked and amazingly no Think that was Pep's first season and they just about scraped into the top 4. He'd only spent around £200M at that point rather than the £1BN since
Nope but as a supporter I'd happily take 10th and an FA cup win.
Imagine the feeling of being at Wembley watching John McGinn lifting the trophy. No way am I swapping that for 4th/5th which is almost like a mystery box option.
