While there's no doubt the injuries have hurt us, I don't think we necessarily have to lower our expectations. As I see it Emi B was likely a rotation option once Ramsey was back. So as long as we get a creative midfielder in we should be no weaker there. Now obviously the Mings injury is a different story. The leader and rock of our defence and we're going to be without him for the season. However his replacement is one of the best defenders in Europe. So as long as someone takes up a leadership role back there (maybe Carlos?) again there's no reason why we should be any weaker there either. No reason why we can't have a really good season, I'm still backing us to win a trophy and challenge for Europe

Yep, he'll be fine for maybe 10 appearances v weaker opposition but anymore than that and it's pushing it if we want to do something this season.

Foyth is 3 years younger tbf and just a much better player. We don't even have 2 players per position in defence anymore so someone definitely has to come in.

Difference is Foyth has a lot more experience at RB, he's essentially been converted already. Also Konsa is required at CB more now

Said it before but I think someone like Foyth makes a lot of sense. Played under Emery and can do the RB role exactly how he likes but could also cover CB if needed.

Surely Pau, Carlos, Konsa, Chambers is enough as long as there's no more injuries Kamara and Dendoncker have played there before too. I'd say just a RB would do.
