If we loan Digne out though and buy Acuña surely we are worse off financially. I reckon it could just be that Digne isn't Emery's sort of player.

How big are we talking 6ft?

Early on in the game he was dribbling and tripped over under no pressure and I thought "oh dear it's going to be another one of those games for him" But after that he was really good. Mainly kept it simple but a lovely bit of play for the assist getting past Young on the outside and cutting it back for McGinn. Took his goal well too on his weaker foot megging Pickford. Hopefully he's not injured now considering he went off. I saw him smiling on the bench though so hopefully he's alright. Much improved performance and signs he can be a useful player for us.

Yeah I heard on commentary they were the 2 that had been practicing them most and it would probably come down to who fancied it. Dougie was as cool as expected though and would expect him to stay on them now.

Coutinho injury aside that couldn't have gone much better. Negative GD wiped out and confidence restored. Goal and assist for Bailey, Duran's first goal for the club and Dougie looking cool from the penalty spot as the new taker.
